quack's manga / #Sad(21)

Hogu Hagyeongsu

Complete | im-aeju | 2016 released

Without romanticizing this, the events still seem a little too coincidental but as a psychological manhwa it's great..... the ending is so fucking stupid I'm actually losing my fucking balls.

Rental Onii-chan

Complete | Ichiiro | 2000 released

I really hope the brother redeems himself but like I teared up real quick cause like it hit the feels

Save Me

Complete | 1230 | 2016 released

I really like the aspect of suspense and surprise in this story as you really can't understand what the character thinks but you have a understanding of why he wants to do this. The aspect of twins really made so much sense as to why he wanted to protect and help. The story was very well thought out and fuck all dem bullies

J no Subete

Complete | NAKAMURA Asumiko | 2004 released

// Spoiler Alert I feel this manga can't be explained with words because it's written so well. J has severe mental trauma and has been taken advantage of multiple times in their life, and the only escape they had was Paul. J has been through severe mental experiences that have fucked them up adding on to society and not allowing them to be them. Personally, since there were many comments about J's gender but I don't think that's the focus here. This story really focuses on J and what they want to be and what they want. The story portrays real people with selfish needs and wants. Paul was only introduced way after the story fully but it fits so well because he was the first love and J's escape. Paul himself I would say isn't as complex as J as he has had a normal life with the exception of J. J was also Pauls's first and only love and had Paul broken when J ran away. I feel Paul was very conflicted with himself and his emotions as he met J since the person he loved just appeared like that. I think I have to reread this not only because it is a beautiful story but because I don't think I understood it that well.
