The bottom is unsurprisingly incompetent & more often then not isn't attractive. The top is meh.

The MC is an omega. 'What a shock'. Also after the beginning the plot went from somewhat interesting to absolutely generic with all the MCs genre savvyness fading away.

In an interesting turn of events Nigel (the typical uke) was seemingly manipulated into becoming THAT from an external source. Interesting. Really interesting. And the seme's typical personality revolving entirely around the uke is flipped on its head & given the potential for a shit ton of depth. I'm curious to see where this goes & whether or not Nigel will free himself from the limitations of ukedom. I assume I was at chapter 27.

Bleh. Generic as they come.

The plot isn't that bad & everything the uke knows I either a large personal event he should know or information he came into contact with as a wanderer. In other words everything has a logical answer on that department. The seme is fine & has his own goals, with the ukes premonitions & surprising attributes despite the rumors being the primary reason why he's taken an interest in him. The uke & seme both appear to be gay. Yay. The primary issues in the plot come from the romance being mishandled & the pushing of the MC to the detriment of everything else. With Ruger & the commoners being prime examples. Like I've forgotten that Ruger existed several times already. Uke is several boring tropes & a half. Same applies to seme. They don't stand out from the rest & are forgettable. I'm at chapter 30. There is a far more organic way to handle the romance & the MLs insecurities of his lack of political savvy. But they'd rather do it in a forced annoying manner weakening the story. Chapter 19 was boring & every thing it revealed could've been seen in a few panels without all the padding. The MC & ML literally have nothing in common nor chemistry so the parts that have just them are the worst. It would've been one thing if they handled Rugers character properly & at the same time made him the ML but nope.
