At present it's clear that the MC child & MC afult are both gay. Sadly the MC adult is a pedo, if one in denial.
MC child is being crushed on by a girl but he hasn't noticed & doesn't really care about her. He feels pressured by his straight friends to agree with them on woman or pretend not to see what they saw. He gets along great with the other gay boy in the class now that they've officially met & resolved their misunderstanding.
Well I quite like the fact that the MC is having none of the girl who's crushing on him BS. If her attitude towards gay men doesn't change he should just drop her as a friend.
