As far as I know (I haven't read the raws) it has most of the non-fantasy world cliches except the Men in homosexual relationships being straight.

Terrible attempt at making the MC stand out as a beacon of virtue.

I'm at chapter 79. They dropped the side characters halfway through minus when they don't relate to the romance. Like seriously I haven't seen the MCs kid or Ex girlfriend in ages & his friends only show up for exposition. Is it because they received poor reception or the 'demon king' received overwhelming positive reception or was it all planned out? I'll never know. But yeah the 'demon king' is the best side character, though at this point he's basically a MC I guess.

In the side story the MC & ML are both bi. Which isn't that unusual but it's still less common than the ML being straight/bi & the MC being straight/gay. So theres that I guess. I've preferred they both be gay to be honest, to muscular men being gay is unusual in yaoi. I'm at side story 24. But I haven't read the main story.

Uke's a stupid hoe. But he's my hoe. I'm going to assume that all 3 MCs are bi; it's all but stated anyway. The MC & ML have good chemistry which is a surprise, theirs some funky bits but it doesn't drag it down too much. The story focuses way to much on the uke to its detriment, delving into the semes life before meeting the uke would honestly be nice. Instead of a perfect Gary stu that has no life outside of the uke. It also tries to white wash the ukes personality, and fails badly.
