this work has portrayed racism and homophobia, amon the other societal issues it contains, so well. it's uncomfortable, yes, because that is exactly what you're supposed to feel while reading other people's sufferings. the systemic oppression that is deeply rooted in our society should make you squirm specially if you do not experience it. i would love to see this adapted into a film.

this fucking manga pissed me off. i hate how rape is often brushed off in bl and how the victim falls in love w his rapist in the end.
