Baran is the king of demons, there's the king of giants, king of frost, king of humanoid monsters, king (actually a female tho) of insects, 2 more I don't remember and the strongest of al the dragon emperor or the king of destruction. So all these kings or monarchs possess the ability to create gates and this war you just saw is between the rulers and kings but Osborne was betrayed. Osborne was originally a ruler too but the god, the one who decided that rulers are meant to protect and kings are to destroy, created them in such a way that they'd always be at war with eachother. The rulers found out that he was only doing this for entertainment so they all turn against him except for Osborne who remains loyal to the end. I don't really remember how he became a monarch, I think it's cuz he was killed or something. All the gates and magic crystals were sent to earth to imbue the land with enough mana so that it can withstand this war as it'll soon be their battlefield. The hunters are actually the stronger than average humans that might be able to survive the shockwaves of the war. His dad dies (cried here) There's a gigantic gate in the skies of Seoul and the other spots What comes out of the gate is his shadow army from the other side (the ones that fought with Osborne) which also has like 3 dragons and this grand Marshall who is much much stronger than beru All the drago emperors army comes out the California gate and jinwoo manages to take the upper hand in the battle He lures the dragon emperor to an isolated place in Japan where there's a lotta mana He almost dies during that epic battle but luckily the rulers come just in time and kill the emperor After that jin woo asks the rulers for a favour to turn back the time 10 years and not send any gates or anything to earth and that he will fight all the monsters in the space between world's all alone ( I bawled my eyes out here) ┗( T﹏T )┛ They agree He goes back in time and enjoys a few peaceful days He then goes to war when he's in like middle school He's at war for almost 30 years but according to earth he returns in 2 years so he changes his biological clock ( he's immortal so he can do that) There's a ruler envoy that greets him and tells him he should prolly not stay in earth cuz of his powers. Jin woo refuses So no one even knows the fact that he waged a whole war and saved humanity as none have any memories of gates or monsters or hunters He's happy with his dad Joins track and field to meet cha had in (she was a runner) They end up together So he still does that thing with his shadow army where he gives criminals 24hours to surrender themselves lolol Woo jin cheol takes up that case and his clues miraculously lead him to jinwoo He meets up but jinwoo somehow manages to not raise suspicion While leaving he suddenly remembered one sentence " jin woo hunter him" and that led to all his memories When he sees jin woo he say that phrase indicating that he remembers everything (I cried a river here too) Jin woo is shocked and the share a small conversation Life goes on Phew...sure is difficult to type out spoilers of a whole novel (￣∇￣")
