Ok from what i have gatherd the people of the world were blessed with magic from the gods and the stronger the magic the bigger the after effect (due to the younger goddess curse). The higher ranking the nobel the more magic power they have and the most powerfull is the royal family.
The guy Fiara meets is a high ranking duke who is suffering from Miasma that build up everytime he uses magic. The only way to get rid of Miasma is for someone to purify it with purification magic, This magic is however very rare and people who have it often taken davantage of and used for their powers. Even rarer is having Purification eyes, its a form of high purification magic that onece awakend changes the wielders eye color, this power is so rare that the last person with it was born 300 years prior to Fiara.
About Fiara's mother:
Fiara has magic because of her noble blood from her mother's side.
The mother is one of several siblings and the weakest in terms of magic power from a low rank nobel family, so she married a commoner. Btw most nobels have a light haircolor and commoners have dark hair.
The mother favors only her children that have the lighter hair becaus they are "strong" in nobel blood, while Fiara is not as she has dark hair and henc is just a servant commoner in her mothers eyes.
The mother actualy thinks she is being nice alowing Fiara to do all the housework and live with them. (she freaking thinks its to be expected as Fiara isnt of noble blood).
About Fiara father:
He was born and raised a commoner and is married to Fiara mother.
He vorks hard and as a commoner he thought it was logical for the wife to raise the kids and do the housework, it was unkown to him that his wife didnt do these things.
His sister warned him that the wife treated Fiara difrent from the rest and that she feared the wife was using Fiara as a maid. The father didnt take this comment from his sister serous until he came hime adn found no food, the wife told him Fiara ran away and he thinks she will be back.
After a day the house is a mess and he questions his wife and finds Fiara was used as a maid, he also learns that the mother told Fiara she couldnt go to the school she got a scolarship for and this pisses him off so he yells at his wife and slaps her.
Little more is known other than they strugle to keep the house sanitary and with food after Fiara left.
has purification magic because of her mothers noble blood. In this world nobels inherited magic from the gots and the brotehr god blessed the royal family,
so the curse the younger godess cast also affacts ppl with magic powers. The stronger the magic the bigger strain or more Miasma the person gets. If to much Miasma builds up then it afects health adn causes death.

About Fiara:
Fiara's magicpower was awakend in her interaction with the hooded man, this changed her eye color meaning Fiara has the rarest form of purification magic and henc must be protected from thos that would take advantage of her.
She is hired by the hooded figur to be his personal purification mage, the salery is equal to like 100k dollars a month, her father makes 30k a year or somthing.
Fiara meets a lot of people and gets friends and even accidentaly helps hatch a dragon egg where the baby thinks she is its mommy. She later enters an academy and goes to school and even meets her older brother who dosn't reconice her atfirst. They talk and he expresses his regret of not being able to have helpt her and also his thanks to her for always making him a bento in the morning before he left to study.
