1) Do not victimize the wife. She manipulated everyone around her and continued to feign ignorance to her own faults. She thoroughly believed she was doing nothing wrong and that she was entitled to what she was doing. She used the delivery boy and continued to manipulate her husband’s feelings.
2) The husband is a very complex and problematic character. His boss takes his body for granted and he has been a bad husband. Still, he’s probably the most sane person here (and that says a lot cuz I wouldn’t classify him as sane)
3) The redhead ending up with the husband might be a cover-up, one that she is very satisfied with. And even if it wasn’t a cover for their current situation and truly together, I’d say that’s probably the best thing we got out of the story. She has insane flaws but at the end of the day she has always genuinely loved and obsessed over him.
Overall, this story is insanely weird.
