Story had a good thing going in the beginning but then idk what happened towards the end. Like so confusing.

Not isekai. FL is a princess who in her first life gets killed, she somehow given a second chance and time travels back. Her father, the king is a crazy man, who has a curse befallen him and a prophecy that foretells that only the strongest of his successors can rid him of the curse that will eventually take his life. Because of this, all the kings children engage in the fight for survival where they literally kill each other. That was how FL died in her first life, and in her current second life, she decides that she will pretend to be crazy so as to appear harmless to other siblings to prolong her life. She ends up being one of the three siblings left, having all others already killed off. Unbeknownst to her, one of her two brothers left actually wants to save her. During an incident where the first prince tries to murder the FL again, who was the original murderer in her first life, FL seems to awaken a power. FL’s power somehow teleports her out of the castle, where an elusive sorcerer, the ML, finds her and take her away. ML is aware that FL is just pretending to be crazy. ML has his own ulterior motives, as it seems like a long time ago he had a bet with the goddess. FL is apparently the daughter of the goddess, whom the bet was made upon. Whoever gets the FL on their side wins. Plot of the story is pretty interesting so far, the sexual tension between the MCs is strong. Regardless of ML’s distain for the goddess, he is attracted to the FL. FL knows of who ML is and decides to use him as a pawn to ensure she is the only one left alive.

Things are really exciting in this story. This is not an isekai story, just FL going back in time 1 year before her death to take revenge on the people who used her. FL is a noble woman who has lost her family and has been taken under the wings of her uncle. However, things are not as nice as they seem, as her uncle’s family slowly begins to take away from FL’s family name and the people who FL’s family. FL is ultimately betrayed by her cousin home and she loved very much. Somehow or rather, I fell manages to travel back in time and wake up one year before her suppose it death. This time FL is determined to get revenge on her cousin and her uncle’s entire family. FL is bold and seems to be fearless at times as she makes way for her revenge plan. FL decides to use the Emperor, the ML, as a pawn in her revenge plot. In a previous life, SL had overheard that her uncle was planning to commit treason and overturn the royal family. This was also the reason for her ultimate demise as her cousin poisoned her upon knowing that she overheard their plans. FL quickly gains the favour of ML, after surprising him with a kiss. As of chapter 20, FL runs into her uncle and her cousin in the Palace, during her brief encounter with a cousin, flashbacks of memories seem to come up, seemingly from a past life timeline where FL was in an arranged marriage to the Emperor and eventually became the Empress. Spoilers from another user in the common section mentioned FL slowly gains more flashbacks of pieces of memories from past life timelines where she did become the Empress and became a special person to the Emperor. It also seems that in some scenes, ML also remembers the events from past life timelines which is probably the reason why they both have feelings for each other very quickly despite FL not remembering. Update, at chapter 41, it is revealed that the ML, also returned to the past after he died with his memories mostly intact.

Not isekai. FL was a poor child who learned sportsmanship and decided she wanted to become a knight. FL has an incredible talent and is known for being a genius swordsman, taking after her father who had a reputation for being one of the best, if not the best swordsman the continent has ever seen. In her first life, she manage to join the Black Knights of the imperial force. Growing up poor, with lots of loans and debts, money came first. FL gets manipulated by the leader of the Black Knights, who lured her in with money to commit unspeakable acts, like assassinations and other underhanded things. FL was ultimately killed by him, in a bid to silence her after tasking her with taking the life of the third prince. FL died with a lot of regret, at the time of her death she wished that she could go back and restart everything and not make the same mistake. FL wakes up, back in the past, where she has yet to join the Black Knights and all her friends are still alive. This time, she strives to be different, vowing that she would not make the same mistake as her past life and make money her sole motivation. This time, retaining the memories of her past life, FL vows to change things in this life. She is seen being a lot kinder to her friends, and slowly changing her reputation for being a money hungry knight /swordman. In this current timeline, FL gains the attention of the fourth prince who is in charge of the Red Knights. Convinced by their commander, who seems to be the ML, FL joins the Red Knights and begins her new life to undoing her past mistakes and perhaps saving the lives of those she couldn’t in her past.

FL gets transmigrated into a novel one day with hopes that once she follows the flow of the original story, she will be able to get back to her own world. She’s reborn into the life of an extra who ends up dying and sets the sequence of the story going where the ML is suppose to meet the saintess. However, when FL died, she woke up to her 10 year old self of the past but this time, things are vastly different. It’s pretty obvious from the beginning that the ML was also someone who went back to the past based on how he acted. This is later confirmed around chapter 27/28. FL realises all this time that ML knew what happened and all this time travelling was made possible because ML used his powers hoping to change the future where FL died. According to spoilers is the comments, after ML collapses from overusing his powers, he drastically shortened his lifespan. Already ML has to pay a heavy price for reversing time, so he leaves without bidding farewell to FL as he’s near his death.

FL is the daughter of the Saintess. However, the Saintess is not who she makes herself out to be. All her life, FL has been abused by the hands of her mother and the people who serve her because she believed that FL was responsible for her waning powers. The Saintess is supposed to be the only envoy/voice that can interpret the Goddess’s words. However, even though FL’s mother was supposed to be the youngest Saintess ever at the age of 15, unbeknownst to all, her powers were actually taken away from her as quickly as it was given. Unable to accept this fact, FL’s mother got into a contract with an unknown dark entity that offered her powers to remain as the Saintess. It is possibly true that FL‘s mother began using prowess in her powers after the birth of FL as she is meant to be the true Saintess. But that’s not proven yet. In FL’s first time, she was married off to the King of a neighbouring country who supposedly has the Dragon’s powers a long time ago but has since vanished and thus, unfeared nor respected. Under the plot of her mother, who has done uncountable evil acts, including unjustly murdering and lynching the current King’s older brother, the mother was hoping that the King’s hatred will drive him to kill FL one day, giving FL’s mom the right to condemn the King to death. FL’s mother also put a curse on FL, to take the life of the King within 6 months or she will die. After the marriage, FL and ML (the king) truly fell in love. Driven to despair at how FL ultimately could not save the one she loves and the kingdom of innocent people, she prayed for a second chance to redo things and was heard. In her second life, FL returns to the point where marriage negotiations were underway. Except in this life, she takes little actions to change the sequence of things and saves the lives of those who would have died. FL also begins to awaken her true powers in this life and it is revealed that in her previous life, she was killed too soon before her powers were awakened and so the Goddess, the Dragon and the Demon Lord put together the powers to reverse time. As of chapter 40, FL and ML are officially married and making their way across the desert back to ML’s Kingdom. At this point, FL has already been recognised as the true Saintess by two of the Nine Wings, sworn loyal followers reborn in every life to be the Saintess’ pillars. However, FL’s powers are not all there yet. Plot moves kinda slow so hoping more chapters will be uploaded so more progression can be made

ML genuinely cares but is unable to communicate his worries to his wife because he wants to shoulder all the burdens and wishes that she would have a comfortable life.
