loved the premise and the MC is a gem as a cute shota with a scheming side lol abruptly ends at vol 2

ch112 - the art here is the prettiest, you can tell how much effort is put in, every page is a painting MC rebirths as the young daughter of a cruel cold blooded king, in the ori novel, she is unloved and killed by the king for the sake of the FL (the king's illegitimate daughter). MC uses her cuteness and brazenly tries to charm her father, and manages to win his affection. (seems like MC's mother died in childbirth which is prob why he hated MC) MC's magic went out of control and the king suppressed her power, but lost all memory of her, so she leaves the palace and goes into hiding. Now the king wants to meet her again because everyone keeps saying he loved her. Meanwhile, the FL who is living at the ML's house (adopted by ML's father as chess piece to get king's favour) has been meeting the king as her presence reduces his headaches whereas meeting the MC makes his headaches worse. A mysterious black haired man (likely king's brother) is staying at duke's house as well, who seems to be FL's real father, he wanted to control FL but wavered because of her innocent trust in family and stopped it. He still cannot touch MC due to king's protection on her. Lucas (court magician) is finally back and says the king is dying due to prev use of black magic, MC's magic seems to reverse his magic to prev state when polluted with black magic, whereas FL's magic soothes it. king used black magic to kill his emotions and erase his memories of mc's mother. Black hair villain uses FL to send a curse to kill the king, he becomes unconscious, MC has to take over his duties but Black hair villain has taken control over the prime minister and seems like trying to use him to usurp the throne. He instigates rumours that the emperor is indisposed due to black magic use and reveals his own identity has the emperor's brother aka the previous emperor who was supposed to have died under the the current emperor's blade. FL is his daughter and he wants to reinstate her as a princess. MC has to field probes and underhanded schemes by the nobles who grow restless. MC and Lucas find out that medium used to curse the emperor (aka ribbon given to mc by the FL) and Lucas realises that the mana on the ribbon has 2 sources, his own magic and the most powerful emperor in history aeternitas - Lucas speculates that aeternitas had stolen his magic when he was in hibernation, and somehow the emperor's brother has now come into possession of the power. Lucas reveals that he has the branch of the world tree that could potentially cure the emperor, initially he did not want to let mc do it due to risk to her life, but mc persuades him. mc sets her affairs in order and reveals the truth to FL, asking her to look after the throne if she dies. when travelling via the world tree, mc meets her mother who left behind a partial soul fragment to look over her family, she is reassured by mc and finally leaves the world, mc uses the world tree branch to break the black magic curse. after they both wake up, Lucas sets a trap on the prime minister's son Ijekiel (silver hair) and uses him as a medium to trap aeternitas who is hiding in the body of the emperor's brother. afterwards, the emperor realises that aeternitas was the real reason why his brother turned against him as he was possessed by him a long time ago. aeternitas tried to possess the FL's body instead but MC manages to drive him out (no idea how, their trust in each other?), hence Lucas destroys aeternitas. the emperor resumes his royal duties, punishes those that were plotting treason and his brother is sentenced to death while fl is found innocent.

ch91 - MC is a regina (candidate for bride of crown prince aka ML) ML now avoiding contacting MC because the FL threatened to expose that the 7th prince was killed by his mother

ch49 - MC is ex fiance of 2nd prince, acting head of her fief and put in reforms (tax reforms, banking system etc) + sell luxury goods (chocolates, conditioners etc), gains help from 1st prince Alfred (in disguise as Dean)

MC is married to prince, but originally was on empress side (since transmigration she plays double agent for the prince). HE

Ch104 MC is an assassin transmigrated to body of empress, she gains a spiritual cat but more like a system who gives her ability to cook reiki/spiritual dishes. Entertaining enough, I like how the ML isn't overbearing, but MC kinda neglects her son, she's left the palace now because she can't accept being part of the harem which is a decision i approve of for a modern day independent woman, but no mother would abandon her kid behind, which shows that she isn't really the kid's mother i guess.

ch100 MC (Medea) is the villainess whose engagement got broken, she switches body with the FL (Psyche), a sheltered noble who had been confined to her estate until her debut. FL's life isnt as golden as it looks, her freedom constant restricted and the prince actually plans to kill her, he's only keeping her by his side to obtain her divine power (FL can heal and wither) FL's mom actually hid her away as a child to protect her, but ML found out about her divine power when she ran away as a child and used her power on criminals. MC's life isnt as great as FL thought it was, she admires MC for being strong and having freedom to do what she wants, but actually MC has been under high pressure from her family to be the best, her intelligence used by her father to obtain fame for himself, they only see her as a tool to be used by the family. MC foils the prince's plan to kill FL by killing the assassins he sent after her. In the meantime, FL tries her best to live her life as MC, foiling her father's plan to marry her off to the King of neighbouring country by jumping from balcony and breaking her leg. FL and MC managed to switch back to their own bodies after FL finds out about her "withering" powers - seems like when FL's life is in danger they switch back. FL "breaks up" with ML as she is finally disillusioned when ML has admitted he didnt love FL when FL was in MC's body. Meanwhile, there's been the word of god interpreted by the Cardinal saying that the person closest to the king will cause the downfall of the empire. MC uses that rumour to frame herself as the person who will cause the downfall - this is a plan to reveal her family's crimes in child trafficking and other offences - MC will be the whistleblower and wash clean her name, she partners up with the cardinal (red head) to use his good reputation. She sends the cardinal to her brother to obtain further evidence of the crimes. FL breaks up with the prince, but agrees to continue their relationship for 100 days - the prince sends an assassin after her, but this coincides with MC being poisoned by her father (MC planned for this by inciting his suspicions that she was going to kill him) - she switches body with FL - MC kills the assassin and FL cures the poison. MC's past with her brother is revealed, her brother always wanted to escape the burden and abuse of his family and assumed MC wanted the same, but afterwards realised she wanted to fight head on and not escape, not hide her brilliance and be married off. However he was horrified by the corruption and wicked deeds of the family so ran off. mc's father and his associates were executed for their crimes and mc becomes head of the family. the prince increase his popularity by improving the relationship with a neighbouring kingdom by giving them back the bones of the previous king (but its actually bones of a homeless man). on the day the cardinal is meant to ascend to power, the prince causes the wall to collapse killing hundreds of people, FL escapes her guards to go save them. the prince and mc have a confrontation where he admits to causing the wall to collapse.

199 mc is rebirths as a princess, her dad is the tyrant king who killed his own children when they were born as he didnt want a heir but he somehow let her live on a whim and mc conquered his heart via her cuteness lol. The emperor is a tyrant but he isnt evil, he's a responsible king who just likes warmongering too much and has a bad temper and unhesitant to kill his enemies as well his subjects who anger him. He was ignored by his father as a child and resented by his mother for failing to obtain the king's favour. The 6th prince aka his half brother arranged for his house to be set on fire and himself killed, his closest maid dying in the process. In order to survive he rose to the throne and slaughtered his father and all his brothers (except the 6th prince) and married all his sisters off. Other characters: MC's maid and almost mother; MC's guardian knight who had an abusive childhood and pledged his services to the king who gave him refuge, sees MC as the only light in his life and his salvation; the chancellor and MC's tutor who is a capable politician but a wife-con and acts silly and likes to annoy the king; the chancellor's twin sons who are like her brothers (blue hair is a playboy but reliable at times, green hair is gentle but best knight, seems like he fights to protect mc); red haired emperor of Persea (he hates the king for conquering his country and killing his countrymen but met mc as a child and seems to have fallen for her, domineering type which makes mc blush); white haired heir to the northern country (also met mc as a child, is the cousin of the twins, is gentle but surprisingly forward - he kissed the mc once already, mc always feels awkward around him and embarrasses herself lol) Now: MC ran away from home after being confined by king, went on tour of a few different countries. After she was picked up by her father the king, MC was kidnapped by her uncle (6th prince) and used to get her father to meet him alone, her father rescues her but gets injured in the exploding building and in coma now. The story is nice but there are always unresolved plot points or time skips that make it seem like a chapter was missing. like im not sure how mc got kidnapped. also what happened to that child way back then who was said to be the king's son but actually was not.. it was also very awkward and uncomfortable when mc got flustered by white haired boy as a kid.. like he was maybe 10 years old.. she's actually an adult.. it was so wrong, im so happy it was only one scene -.- but yeah after that i get a bit uncomfortable when she blushes around the boys, like they're maybe 18-20 years old, super young.. I was actually shipping her with her knight instead, who cares if he's 40yrs, she's around that age inside too.. but that brings me to another point of this novel, mc acts her physical age. like she's not mature at all, tbh im not sure why they made her transmigrate, like this novel would have worked fine if she was just a precocious baby who became self aware at a young age. anyway, the art is really nice, and mc was a really pretty and cute child, and it was funny at times, i like how mc can be quite deadpan at times. the characters are all interesting in their own way. i just wish mc could be slightly more mature/smarter sometimes.
