mc is an author who wrote a series about the 1st Prince and 2nd prince who both are transmigrators in the same world, the villain aka the 3rd prince (ML) somehow falls through a sinkhole into MC's world and found out that is world is a novel, he kidnaps mc in order to change his fate and become emperor. Initially mc is of course upset and scared, she tries to write out the plot for Ml to become emperor but it fails, MC can only change herself who is not of this world using the notebook she brought from the other world, in order to change to plot of the novel she needs to write in the real world. mc gradually warms up to the ML and his loyal subordinate as well as her maidservant. MC is able to make herself into a fast runner, strong swordswoman and good dancer by writing in her notebook. MC runs into strange monsters that she did not create, they are hostile to others but seem to want something from MC. ML plans to become the flower knight in the festival (escorts the princess from another kingdom) in order to get an invite into the castle of the 2nd prince, this is because the 2nd prince transmigrated via a cave which is located beneath his castle. The princess ML escorts is actually scheming to marry into the royal family in order to borrow their power to get revenge on her step sister who married the emperor of another country and becomes an empress. She tries to get ML to cooperate with her with the lure of crossbow weapon schematics, but ML rejected her cause he already loves MC. 2nd prince catches them sneaking into the bottom of the castle, he agrees to let them in if ML beats him in horse riding. However during the tournament, assassins sent by the princess try to kill ML as well as 2nd prince, MC foils their plan but is seriously injured, MC's subordinate uses her notebook to heal MC. When the horse race ends, the princess surrounds and capture ML and 2nd prince, but 2nd prince's wife aka a female knight commander comes and saves them. Afterwards, when they go to the cave, they find it already collapsed. Later on, MC is led by the monsters to the world tree where she finds out that the 1st prince's loyal butler had discovered this role was a novel due to a plot hole (in the 1st book, mc wrote him as an old man, but in the 2nd book he became younger with a different personality), he damaged the world tree and is ruining the novel causing the world to be at risk of collapse, the monsters are actually guardians in charge of maintaining the plot of novel as MC writes it but now they are losing their power and disappear, leaving behind only one baby monster and the remainder of their power in MC's notebook where only the last page is left. In the meantime, ML's mother assassinated the king under the instigation of the butler, she was caught red handed and imprisoned. ML rushes to the palace to stabilise his position, while MC and ML's subordinate rush to the dungeon to rescue ML's mother. ML's subordinate "betrays" MC by selling her out to the butler in order to save ML's mother and guarantee ML's safety, however he doesn't reveal that MC's source of power comes from the notebook, hence mc was able to make herself small and escape. She meets up ML and they go to the place where the last portal remains aka the place where 1st prince transmigrated. However before they can go through the portal they are ambushed by the butler who also stabs the 1st prince. Due to the notebook's power being used up, the world starts to destabilise and collapse, the falling blocks end up crushing ML's subordinate and also ML. ML asks MC to return to her world but to make sure ML remembers her. MC returns and fixes her plot holes however the portal disappears. MC quits her day job and writes the novel about the 3rd prince, but before she finishes the novel, she is told that the final chapter is already posted where the 3rd prince ascends the throne and is to marry a princess, she rushes home to edit the ending but runs into one of the guardians/monsters who transport her into the novel where she wakes up dressed in a gown, the other characters pretend not to know her and guide her to the ballroom where the emperor is getting married, only for mc to realise she is the bride after she gets there. Turns out ML lived his life in the novel but always feeling depressed, after he becomes emperor he meets a guardian who brought mc's notebook to him, giving him back his memories, hence ML decides to write his own ending to the novel and MC is brought into the novel.
