This was ok, worth a read, but I didn’t connect with either of the main characters. I found the drug use a turn off and some of the extra characters meaningless to the plot or characters.

Call boy assassin and hero style detective. An unexpectedly good pairing in this story and both MCs were well written. I found this an interesting read, but not a feel good one.

These two men had all the intensity and passion for each other you could ever hope for. When dangerous men fall for each other and Nishida Higashi is writing you are set for the very best of stories. I absolutely LOVED this!

These stories were all pretty hot with great artwork, sexy scenes and no censorship. The drugless sex stories were pretty much total smut as the relationships were not necessarily consensual nor were any real living feelings obvious. It focused more on being at the mercy of those pheromones. The other shorts were better and all are worth spending some time to read.

Trigger warning: Forced This sequel outshone the original story. I loved Tatsumi and Inui deepening their relationship. It was a bumpy ride but with a defiant character like Inui that’s to be expected. Some parts in the story made my heart hurt with the characters. Other parts were more romantic (or at least the Inui version of romance). The other highlight was all the sexy times shared between the two, uncensored and hot.

A very well told story that takes you into the lives of 3 broken guys. The depiction of drug use was dark and isolating and there was an overlaying sadness to the story that was inescapable. Read this if you want something special and different.

Two wonderfully original stories. The priest and the cult member followed by the plant guy. They are both a little dark, especially the priest’s tale and even the art style has a suitable grittiness that I really liked. It has a bit of an old style noir effect that suits this mangaka’s offbeat stories.
