Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #Gentle Seme(4)

So beautiful! I want to wrap myself in all the good feels from this shounen-ai to face the worst of days, it was just that lovely. Highly recommended story with genuine characters and beautiful artwork.

Beyond adorable, this was one of the sweetest manga I have ever read. I loved Takumi’s introspection as he fell for Hana, from being happy just to look at him to feeling at peace. Many heartfelt sighs from me. Hana was adorable and quite a unique character. He had a touch of old world elegance and sweet innocence. Add in that big eyed, tiny monkey and I was totally loving this story.

Trigger warning: Gang rape, prostitution, violence This Omegaverse was very well written and had some lovely artwork, but the plot line was one of much suffering for the uke and not an easy read because of that. Nanao (omega) was a collared, ‘owned’ piece of property available to a select group of powerful alphas and teachers at his boarding school. His hatred of alphas ran deep but he was willing to use them for money (they had been raping and abusing him anyway) that he used to buy his heat suppressants. When new transfer student Souiji (alpha) started he fell for Nanao at first sight, but refused to have sex with him. Even when he joined the circle of alphas with access to the omega’s, he chastely wooed Nanao with words of respect, treasuring him as he bought all of Nanao’s time. Through some ups and downs these two slowly developed a trusting relationship that would have been sweet (and it actually was) if it weren’t for the toxic treatment of omegas in this world (and of Nanao in particular). A quick example: Ryosuke (in charge of the alpha’s club) called Souiji in to watch him fuck Nanao. He ordered Nanao to rape Souiji with his heat. He offered up all his omegas to the entire school to be fucked if they were caught, giving no warning or time for the omegas to run. He profited off selling omega’s for sex. All that but because he was drawn to be good looking he was given a hinted love interest...bleh. All I can say is that if I had boarded at that school and was an omega treated as Nanao was, Ryosuke’s would be the first one I would slice to death in a killing spree. Two points for guessing where the slicing would start

Kamisawa is able to see the strings of fate. Not only that, he can sever them and makes a living helping people in such a manner. That is how he meets Hara-san, to help him get rid of an obsessed woman. For Hara, that meeting was a matter of love at first sight. But love was something that Kamisawa avoided, because every time he felt it for someone they met their destined partner as shown by the red string of fate, and they always abandoned him. However, Hara is a determined man. He will play by Kamisawa‘s rules for now, but the stubbornly gentle seme can see the loneliness that surrounds Kamisawa and he is set to catch his reluctant lover and pamper and love him forever. No strings attached. Adorable story, very romantic with the sweetest seme and lots of chemistry between this perfect pair. It’s so lovely it may make you shed a tear or too from sheer jealousy.
