The first story with Subaru and Daigo was a little irritating. The very straight Subaru was suddenly gay for Daigo and I simply couldn’t see any reason why. He was still, for all intents and purposes, a stranger. Also, for all that Daigo ‘wanted to fall in love’, and in the end ‘wanted to fall in love with Subaru’, that doesn’t mean that he IS in love with the man. It’s for these reasons I found this story very unsatisfying.

At 27 years of age, he needs to marry his long term fiancé from the Ujou family in order to keep his powers and serve those who seek help at the shrine. However Rio’s fiancé suddenly runs away, and her family send their youngest son, Nagi as a temporary replacement until their second daughter comes of age. However, Rio finds the earnest younger man increasingly endearing. What happens if he wants to keep him?
