I love stories with a little angst of friends to lovers and all the new feelings that can be overwhelming. These stories all had that element of looking at someone in a new way and were full of cute couples. I loved the first pair the most. They were adorable and the whole carrying “princess style” was a seriously cute moment.

Poor guy, to be so horribly abused. At least he found a sweet and caring guy who loved him but I still wish those rapists had been arrested.

I always love a story where the seme loves the uke so very, very much. Hiyama was a talented baseball pitcher who fell in love with Oshima, the uke who forcefully rejected his confession, at least at first. Soon enough Hiyama’s charms win over the reluctant uke. So sweet, I especially loved how the uke was no pushover.

I shed a few tears in that baseball story, it was so beautifully written. I also really enjoyed the age gap story, the older guy had such a great angry face and both MCs were drawn so well! I have to send a big thumbs up to the translator and editor, the translation went above and beyond with the accent and there were no jarring moments of poor grammar

I loved the way these opposites were so adorable together. Really, Chun was a sweetie who sparkled and was the sort to make friends wherever he goes, but Taka was more a tsundere who only showed his softer feelings to Chun. I enjoyed the whole baseball theme and the intensity and focus put into that by Taka. All in all, two likeable characters, some great action shots, a rival worth ignoring and an enjoyable read.

An irresistible pairing; Kenshiro x Aya-chan. The obsessive love Kenshiro felt for his angel Aya-chan was the best kind of obsession because it was so positive. Nothing he ever did would hurt his little catcher and Aya had the ability to always calm the beast. I loved the baseball setting, the team and other friends/rivals made along the way. While I hated reading about the cheating behaviour of the other couples, it really highlighted how Aya-chan and Kenshiro were a strong and dedicated couple who you can see being together even when they are old and gray. A recommended read with lots of funny moments and great art.

Such an interesting spin on Omegaverse. Alpha are the next step in human evolution but they are feared and often resented by the wider public. Miyuki has just found out he is an alpha of significant power and the pheromones he releases compel others to do his will. When Sawamura is pitching his desire to please his battery is so consuming he is morphed into an omega. Literally shaped to bear the progeny of an alpha. Miyuki is overwhelmed and distressed by the changes in his life, but as he grew to understand what it is to be alpha and omega, he embraced his friend and the two willingly bonded. It was beautifully intense, how much the two revolved around each other once they took that step. To an outsider it may seem strange, but I found that alpha/ omega dynamic like perfect chemistry.

Such an interesting setting for a story in a technical college that develops specialist skills. The club was where the story spent most of its time with the very sweet BL between the club president and yankee student, Toyoma. Both boys were endearingly honest and adorable and their relationship was well set for growth amidst the challenges of the Robocon competition.

Bookworm, Chitose Yuzumoto gets a surprise confession from his classmate Riku Hidaka, the ex-captain of the baseball team! Although shocked, Chitose agrees to be Riku’s boyfriend for 2 weeks of making memories and hanging out together, with no sexual pressure. Naturally, these two nice guys are so cute together. They have some amazing honesty as well as the expected insecurities that hold them back, but this is a HEA story of opposites falling for each other. Very cute, fluffy and wholesome, this is a feel good story not to miss.
