A very sweet little story in that true ‘slice of life’ style. Fresh from school in the country and newly independent in the big city, the uke in this story is adorably clueless about so many aspects of adult life. Despite this, he has an admirable core of determination and strives so hard. I found it sad because his parents recently died, his sister married and moved away, and he had no phone or way to keep in contact with her or any of his old friends. He really was like an abandoned puppy and there is no place like the city to really feel alone. But this guy persisted, got a job and caught the attention of his good looking and surprisingly protective neighbour. What followed was a sweet story of new feelings, confusion, misunderstandings and love.

So wonderful, beyond words, loved it. The moment at the end when the 2 uke’s met was freakin’ hilarious

Some fun short stories to read. I Just Wanna Be A Good Boy: The manifestations of Sin and Virtue are assigned at birth to Kenta, a student with a crush on his cute friend, Hasumi. These opposing voices of maverick temptation and serious morals have reached a stage in their ‘friendship’ where temptation is leading virtue astray when their person sleeps at night. A cute, supernatural story. Tsundere Template: Student Katanashi is a recent devotee of animation and manga, having fallen for the tsundere female lead in the series ‘Bad Karma.’ His friend teasingly sets him up to meet a real life tsundere only its a boy, Toga. This was an adorable story of a cute tsundere with few friends and the enthusiastic guy who fell for him. Fast paced but their dynamic was so sweet I really enjoyed it. Sweet Trip Homestay Happenings: Socially awkward Japanese student Aki is sent to a host family in Australia in the hopes he will gain some confidence. There he stays with the Brown family and their golden haired son Lucas. Lucas is tall, confident and loves Japan and Japanese people. Perhaps a little too much for the shy Aki, at least at first. But how can love flourish when Aki has to return home? A cute, fast paced story that would have been better if it were allowed a little more time to develop. Your Whisper Echoes’Til The End: An encounter between the driver of the last train to a small town who always speaks the messages and a sleepy drunk who actually listened. Very short story of a first meeting that was interesting but not very romantic. An Electrifying Shock of Love: Itsuto is feeling glum. Christmas is around the corner, and it is the season… for static electricity. Itsuto charges up with so much static over winter that he broke up with his girlfriend in order to spare her the pain. However, his loneliness calls out to his friend Tomo, who reveals his willingness to brave the pain in order to hold his friend close over the holidays, if only Itsuto goes out with him. A cute little story with a few shocks along the way.

Trigger Warning: Incest (Brother x Brother) Multiple stories that were all enjoyable for different reasons. The main story had the best character development and it was sweet how some of the loneliness of being a neglected child of a narcissistic mother was addressed with a caring partner. The second story had some unexpected twists that caught me by surprise and I found the whole inability to get an erection was interesting especially given the feelings between the MCs. There was something sweet about the yearning to catch Yoshida’s shadow. The third story of the two brothers was just too short to do justice to such a subject, but it was still a good read. Wtf was up with that cat though? It was like the reincarnated form of some manly old pervert. The last story was a sequel and was great for the switching roles. Be sure to read the main story first.
