Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #sadistic seme(8)

Kawaisa Amatte Nanika ga Hyakubai

Complete | Enzou | 2009 released

Good stories, I like the sadistic flower shop guy, but the uke’s previous partners were just awful.

Risou No Koibito

Complete | madarame hiro | 2013 released

These two were different from fluffy, easy to love characters. Yoshimi was a bit of a sadist who liked discipline play but he loved and was very vulnerable towards Riku. Riku was quiet, with masochistic tendencies who thrived under Yoshimi’s controlling love play. I found them interesting, but I wished Riku admitted his feelings of love a bit more. It was always sweet to see how Yoshimi melted at that.

Meeting You

Complete | TENNOUJI Mio | 2000 released

Good reads, though I am glad the prez stopped being so cruel and ended up totally ensnared by his uke.

Kalimeris Porno

Complete | Hinako | 2014 released

Trigger Warning: Dubious Consent A sadistically controlling seme and a reluctant intersex uke? What a great premise for a story but it was too short to do the characters any real justice. I can’t even tell if the uke is a submissive masochist or really unwilling.

Best Ending?

Complete | MIO Junta | 2000 released

3 of Mio Junta’s short stories. An actor x waiter, swimmer x neet, and senpai x kouhei whose love seems to have fizzled, these were all enjoyable reads. Beautiful artwork, humor and love.

Love Monster (mio Junta)

Complete | mio junta | 2011 released

3 short stories (2 with characters we meet from the 1st story), all with some very possessive and jealous types of partners. They had that fast pace often a hallmark of oneshots, but they were still fun reads and had some hot, sexy moments too. From childhood friends to a pretty faced monster to med students at a mixer, these are a good choice if you like a touch of the bad boy in your stories.

Physical Talkroom

Complete | WATA Rainy | 2019 released

Trigger Warning: Dub con College student Kaito, is a womanising playboy who takes a different girl home each night. His noisy bouts of sex annoy his neighbour Asami, as the thin walls provide no escape from the sounds. Their relationship is contentious. That is, until the night Kaito overheard Asami talking dirty on the phone… to a man! He couldn’t resist the dark voice and touched himself, following every naughty suggestion. But ofc.. thin walls. And before he knew it the owner of that voice was at his door, then in his room, pushing him down and taunting him for touching himself. The sadistic Asami sexually dominated the responsive Kaito and changed his understanding of pleasure forever. Their story flows from there, and for all the dub con it’s pretty obvious that Kaito is completely powerless to resist Asami’s sexy voice. There is also more depth to both characters which gets explored, especially the vulnerable Kaito. I don’t see this as quite a fetish story though, because it’s not any deep, raspy voice that works for Kaito. It’s only one, and it’s only ever been one that he seeks.

Kill the Lights

Complete | Mink, Jangryang | 2000 released

CW: Drugs, murder, promiscuity, suicide references, dub con This story goes straight to my favourites pile. Both Noah and Mason/Haley were wonderfully complex characters, each with a backstory that had elements of heartbreak and which had much to do with who they were in the present day. I loved the sadistic behemoth Noah. He was such a mix of frightening power and fragile vulnerability all wrapped up in a beautiful physical shell. His PTSD and long term mental health struggles were a believable backdrop for his dangerous personality. And for all he was seriously obsessed and possessive he tried very hard to ensure that he didn’t give in to his darkest urges. As for Mason/Haley, I loved his expressions, and the art of his character with blue eyes and black hair. His protective side, his fierce independence, and his reactions to the money offered in his acting roles lol. Together, they were a favourite pairing and I loved their story!
