Mizu No Kioku

Complete | Sakuragi Yaya | 2003 released

Light, pleasant; an easy read but nothing really to get excited about.

Shishunki No Ayamachi

Couple of friends letting off steam.

Best Ending?

Complete | MIO Junta | 2000 released

3 of Mio Junta’s short stories. An actor x waiter, swimmer x neet, and senpai x kouhei whose love seems to have fizzled, these were all enjoyable reads. Beautiful artwork, humor and love.

Ai ni Naburareru

Complete | Honjoh Rie | 2000 released

Architectural student Atsushi lives free of emotional attachment and embraces his playboy lifestyle. That was until he accidentally walked in on classmate Niinobe masturbating in the locker room. Surprised, he quickly excused himself but Niinobe called him with a jaw dropping request; “Please watch me”. Stunned, Atsushi nonetheless stayed and started a bizarre relationship that involved sexual control with his submissive friend. But no touching! It was a cute (though rather predictable) story.

Oboreru Omega

Ongoing | Fujita cafeko | 2019 released

Misono Yuu is an omega masquerading as an alpha to be able to complete his childhood dream of being a gold medalist swimmer like his uncle. But on the very first day he transferred to the elite alpha only school his pheromones outed his gender to one of his classmates. Hirose is an average alpha who found himself instantly smitten by the new transfer student. When they were both attending swim practice he stumbled across Yuu in heat and both were swept away by the pheromones. But while Hirose recognised his fated mate, Yuu was avoiding him at every turn. Spoilers ahead* I loved most of the story, but hated how quickly Yuu gave up on his lifelong dreams and instead watched from a distance as Hirose got them. For such a driven omega, he just handed his dreams over and didn’t even support the man he loved achieve them? That’s just one of several reason why the ending was extremely unsatisfying.
