This was sad and beautiful. Yes the younger brother and ex are scum, but the relationship of the main couple was so sweet and beautiful. Mashiro parades as a slut bc he wants to feel loved and needed, so he uses sex for that outlet and is afraid to show his true self. Daichi is a kind man who sees Mashiro for himself and falls in love with him. The little brother kind of messed up Mashiro's life, he was the one who got all the attention from their parents and then got Mashiro kicked out of their home bc of his ex-boyfriend. It's not clear if the little brother seduced the ex or was assaulted, but the end leans more toward the seduced theory as he seems quite deranged and obsessed. Daichi sees through the little brother and truly puts Mashiro above all else. The last chapter was especially lovely with the line about Mashiro's transparent and clear beauty untainted by the horrible people around him and the trauma he's experienced, as well as his fragility as if he would disappear. Mashiro had suffered so much, and I'm so glad that Daichi is there to love him and help him heal, and show him that he deserve to be loved and treasured too. A bit sickening to read at times with the assaults, but the main couple's love was very lovely.

The persistent and flirty uke who also seems ready to give up the relationship at any time, the straight seme who was first trying to avoid him but gave in to his carnal desires. The relationship that started out backwards, from sex friends, to a first kiss and becoming lovers, to finally saying I love you. The progression was nice though as they became comfortable in each others lives and realized their feelings. A bit of longing and possessiveness from both sides. Both are also equally horny lol.

Multiple stories and I like the character dynamics but...they are so forceful and almost every story had assault that was easily brushed aside. I like the dynamic of a flirty uke in an unrequited love and pretending to be unserious towards a serious athlete with an unrequited love of his own. The triangle and angst was good, but I didn't really feel the seme's shift in feelings towards the uke, or I would have liked to see it more. I feel like they had good sexual chemistry and that led their relationship.
