On rereading it felt like a parody of killing stalking. It wanted to recreate the atmosphere and intrigue of that story but in shorter time frame and a bit less developed. It's not the best but it's not the worst either. My only two issues is the reason why the kidnapper kidnapped the trans girl and put her in the same cell as the mc. That never was explained why he grabbed her specifically. And the ending when he went into the convenience store and met the kidnapper a second time and ended with "you really never learn" like bro what?! I wanted everyone that's not the kidnapper to have a happy ending and I thought I would get that bit they put that ambiguous ending. Similarly to killing stalking when the mc ran out into the busy street, but you knew that Yoon bum was gonna get hit by a car and die from the delusions afterward. Even then, if you really wanted to, since we didnt see him get hit by a car and was only implied, you could say he almost got hit, or that he survived afterward. Here, you don't get the clear ending at all, he sees him again and your left with a feeling of dissatisfaction because you want to know, "did he get kidnapped again?" "What about his girlfriend?" "Did he end up getting charged at the end or what happened with the confrontation?" Amd finally, "did the mc's best friend's older brother end up succumbing to his wounds?" Sorry this is so long and I don't remember names at all but I felt like I should update my rating since I had read it once more.

I honestly love this author. Their stories is really good and I love the art too. This one was super dark but I absolutely loved it. I feel bad about the boy that died from suicide for the mc to transfer to his body. And the irritation for the mc to tell the ML that he was the boy he liked in his past was high till he finally confessed lol. Definitely a re-read.

I'm conflicted on my score simply becuase of how sad these stories made me. This doesn't have a tragedy tag for no reason. Especially the 4th chapter, maaan that one is rough and on my first read I almost cried. All of these stories are fucked up in some shape or form but the kid in chapter 4 getting raped and couping with it by saying it's aliens or UMASS really hit me hard.

Broo.. i didnt think this story would be as good as it was. The mermaids were cursed by another mermaid that got her human lover killed by a mermaid that mermaids would have to eat human hearts in order to survive. Merlin otherwise known as Dee basucally did the whole mermaid princess areil thing with the prince and took his necklace. She then was cursed to have legs when her friend doed trying to get her a heart. She lived in the castle with the princess and other prince and at the end she ends up being found out to be a mermaid. The second prince (prince she didnt save from ship wreack aka The little mermaid) saved hwr from getting killed but since she hasent eatin he killed himself to save her but she got caught anyway. In the end she told the first prince (the one she the little mermaid with) she loved him and died. Basically all the characters were terrible people execpt merlin technically. The first prince (the one that dies) ends up falling in love with merlin but was supposed to marry the princess of a rich kingdom that liked him and becuase of that he ended up leading her on. He was nice but two timing is absolutly wrong! The second prince (the one that merlin falls in love with) is a womanizer that wants to be the king so he makes this whole plan to steal the princess from his brother and it works at the end! Like bruh he had the worst personality. The princess from a rich kingdom was just downright stupid. Nothing more nothing less. And finally merlin. She is just a pure soul truely. Only reason why she kinda bad is cuz she has to eat human hearts to survive but its not like she wants to. My girl basically suffered throughout this whole story and i feel so bad for her . But you know whos truley to blame? Not merlin for following the guy she likes to be with him, not rhe princes who wanted to be king and make their territory thrive. Not the princess that was just blindly in love. Not the kings with bad parenting skills. And not even the mermaid who set the curse in agony of her dead lover that was brutality murdered by her kind so they coukd get stronger. No, it was all becuase of humans, humans and our society and how shitty we truely are. How we made these innocent creatures into slaves and put them in tanks like fish and abused them. All this happened becuase of the society they lived in, and the society we live in now. Thats why i give this story 5 stars and i would love to read this story again
