☣️I’m just happy to see the Itachi/Ten/Martin, you don’t see this Yokai very often in manga (the kitsune, or tanuke R more popular—even though the Itachi is said to have stronger transformation powers). I’d love to see a Kamaitachi in BL.
The art style is nice, it’s probably the best part of the manga. But the storyline thus far is very plain, & is definitely not looking anything like yaoi, not even really Shounen-ai. Just more of a lighthearted slice of life about 2 friends moving into an apartment for the first time.
️A Martin named Maru is moving in to a new apartment with Sunao, the 1st human who noticed his true form (apparently the translators had trouble working out what he was—don’t know why—but if they used Itachi instead it would have probably been less confusing 4 readers as it would have signified it is a yokai, not just an animal that transforms)
