And he let's her because he doesnt want to hurt her anymore and thinks she doesnt like him. Then he finds out brings her back. She becomes a concubine?? And his other concubine son becomes crown prince. I don't mind the three marriages but he shouldnt have had a child with another woman no matter what if he loved her and she shouldnt have returned to be a woman. She fought for him and worked harder she should've had a higher status at the very least. He also shouldnt have just let her go, he is supposedly this great emperor and master tactiction but cant handle a simple conversation. The ending completely shits all over Paulina's struggles and glorifies the dude as if all her worth was just a marriage to him. Also the only time they have sex is due to a one night stand and the reason he changes any laws in his country is due to his concubine. Like damn dude fl fights for you in a war, you supposedly love her for years but not enough to change any laws for her or to truely try to woo her instead of a one night stand.
