comedy relies on mc being a complete airhead, clumsy idiot who overreacts to everything, which drives the plot. when that's the only thing driving the plot and comedic situations, and mc never really get any better, it gets old fast. feels like the author is just putting things together haphazardly to create the most absurd situation. proportions are also not great.

went in fully expecting a dark drama but was pleasantly surpised with the absurdist comedy, however the worldbuilding is abysmal and the plot became incoherent and confusing. the plot abt the 'time reversal' wasnt set up well, and the past life lore was extremely rushed and jarring with its lighthearted tone despite the darker underlying themes (confinement, obsession, death). like how did ml's leg just crack and completely fall off? why was he was miserable when he was the one who confined mc? the psyche of the mc and ml arent really explored much and ml's personal issues (ie his obsession) is not really addressed as a potentially dangerous flaw and rectified. the plot sequence of the last 10 chapters are hazardous as well. the mystery about the aunt was confusing and revealed in a info dump, and everything was resolved easily. not to mention, i am pretty disappointed with how the love triangle was resolved -- the secondary LI sacrifices his life for mc so mc and ml live happily ever after
