damnn i luv this...! (but is all of mc's mean actions necessary tho?) I'm hoping this is QT and that the romance is slow-paced. their dynamic is a damn lot more interesting than some other bls I've read before. it's great that misunderstandings won't and can't occur due to ml's unique ability~

im giving it an extra star because of the translation quality. i detest the seme and hate a story in which the uke submits to and falls for the person who killed his family, but I am interested as to how the story will unravel, albeit it's a bit slow seme: ruthless, ambitious. very clear-headed and doesn't let his lust (for mc) affect his judgment. whom i assume is the 2nd ml: love and lust for uke. he's willing to leave his job for uke's sake. as it stands, he is wayyy better than ml. edit: welp that aged like milk. he thinks of mc as a whore and rapes him too. he wants mc to be indebted to him and fall in love with him but he's not respecting the mc at all. edit: seems to me the author either wants to prolong the series or hasn't really planned out the revenge on mc's end, so she just supplementing the story with smut. how disappointing. is it just gonna be like those stories when mc and ml get emotionally attached to each other bc of their constant skinship? it's one of the hackneyed plot devices for enemies-to-lovers trope. furthermore, there's a clear power dynamic between them- mc having sex with ml so he can live- so anything mc feels will just be stockhome syndrome.

JUST WHEN THEY FINALLY REUNITED, AUGHHHH ch 59. han and candy's subplot has me crying. plz just let them be happy, even in the afterlife interesting how there's no true right or wrong. justice, morality and truth is relative. thieves who steal for their family's livelihood are still criminals to the victims of theft. and just bc a killer stopped killing and tried to atone doesnt negate the sins of the lives he took. and the man who killed the killer is not a law enforcer, but a murderer to the family of the killer. kai is right that the ideal world is a world without bloodshed. a world where the law is enforced by executing criminals, where what is the law is defined by the elites who never experienced the shittiest part of society, or people who experienced enough to form a narrow black-and-white worldview, is never going to be a safe place, as it would only perpetuate hatred and murder. it's all bc of that damned system and the greedy elites. ch 104. deadass crying again. "from the first time i laid eyes on you." BROOOO i shipped them so hard, despite the age gap. also the border between the living and the dead thing felt like an deus ex machine, but who cares? we got to see them again. and it also had a beautiful bookend so whatever
