i thought the plot twist was kinda obvious. so when silver the alien attacked, aloof dark-haired boy, akio, eyepatch guy, and according to aloof boy, the mc was in the scene too. silver laid devastation on the aloof boy's home and his sis is rendered into a coma; akio was killed that day, and the future mc was the one who saved aloof boy(according to him). also, now, eyepatch believes mc has an alien within him, who could be silver, bc of the devastation he caused in the vr test. but now eyepatch revealed that he used to have a dog and daughter, and he "killed" akio on that day. so to my understanding, silver had taken the form of eyepatch's dog, for some reason, was triggered and destroyed stuff, and then rehosts itself in the mc...
as of now, the mc is annoying. he's bland, naive, and kinda unlikable.
