this is a masterpiece. but i wished there were fewer filler chapters that give us breadcrumbs about the overarching conflict. also, after 1000 chapters, heiji still hadn't confessed to his love interest... it's like that's the only subplot for them, which sucks. also, mouri is a moron. it's pretty frustrating how no one thinks it's weird that mouri always falls asleep when unraveling a mystery and conan disappears at the same time.
sonoko is pretty annoying; all there is to her character is simping for hot guys and being ran's friend. she has no development or subplot whatsoever (maybe it's a romance plot with makoto, but seriously, they have no chemistry).
