Action is cool, world seems cool but is actually very shallow, MC is absolutely shite.
I'm gonna warn you now, this story is weirdly sexist and constantly treats our female lead like shit for... no reason? Like, they made this girl useless and frustrating to be around with literally no reason to be in the story at all. There's a few HAR HAR funniiieee moments where the girl is treated badly by the MC that just frustrated me to no end, he doesn't like her, the author doesn't like her, we don't like her, why is she here? The story would lose nothing by losing her. It just feels like making a punching bag for the MC to abuse by taking away her ability to speak or locking her away to torture her. Really fucking weird and unnecessary, just don't make this character if you can't think of a way to actually use her in a non-sexist/ non-cruel way.
Plus, Jude, our MC, is so fucking one note and boringly OP. You never worry about him because he'll always win and never see him in jeopardy. Now, this could be interesting! Solo-levelling has a MC who's totally OP pretty quick (although not from the start, unlike Jude). The difference is that in Solo Levelling the MC has people he cares about that he wants to protect, you end up liking those characters and you can totally feel the stakes when someone is in danger. He's OP but he can't save everyone and that's great. I have legitimately cried at certain emotional moments in Solo Leveling. War-ble on the other hand, has no emotional stakes. You don't care about the girl (and neither does Jude), you don't care about Jude's former Master cause she's already very dead, you definitely aren't worried about or care for Jude- he's a prick and unkillable. The revenge quest doesn't feel earned and isn't fun to read. Plus he is unbearably edgy, he reeks of 13 year old edgy scythe OC. That's fine when you're 13 but not when you're writing an actual story people are supposed to be taking seriously.
Honestly, I have read worse trash but this one has such threadbare characters and no stakes. It makes it an easy 3/10 for me, only saved by the occasional good fight scene (with no stakes
