Mameiha's manga / #yaoi dads(3)

Such a super sweet manga. I really enjoyed it, for the most part. I was left with a few questions though. What ever happened to Hikaru (young porn star) and both his "fall for me" offer and his theater troupe offer? What ever happened the the pushy and meddling brother in law? How did Asukasa handle the fact that Izumi starred in an AV? That means the Izumi had sex with Hikaru. Someone as innocent and reserved as Asukasa is not going to shrug something like that off, sorry. Even if he does, it will haunt him. As much as I really loved the sweet sentiments of this story, it felt so rushed at the end. Not enough thought was put into the planning of this manga's plot and it's characters. It honestly felt like the mangaka tried really hard for the first half and got bored by the second half.

I'd have liked to see more than a one shot of this story. As it is, the flow is confusing. There is a kiss in what seems to be college, then nothing for seven years. Next page, "Let's live together as a family with my sister's abandoned daughter! Yay!" What? Is it common for ANYONE to do this? The plot concept had great potential, but I can see why it stayed a one shot. The concept was hastily and poorly executed. This is a story that couldn't be told in one chapter, yet it was squeezed into one. Such a shame.
