This wasn’t as bad as people tried to make it seem, I enjoyed it in a weird nuance of I wanted them (Agatho and Noah) to be happy together. They both craved a sense of belonging and found a sense of help in each other. A twisted sense of help but that reliance was all they needed as a catalyst for their understanding of what affection is. Agatho having been abandoned found comfort in church and the ideology that not only could he be helped and saved but do unto others as himself. While Noah found the cult and that his deity was the reasoning for his insatiable desire once meeting Agatho who offered his help of always being there in a form of a promise. So all in all from a psychological aspect it’s not just about being crazy and getting the guy he wants. They found a sense of belonging in one another on opposite ends of the same spectrum.
