Three and a Half
14.2.2021 These stories all have bothersome elements in them, and all of them are connected to the theme of ”not being true to yourself” and ”needing someone else to get it right/out”. First story is about a gay roommate who falls for his straight roommate, but because that person’s PE and lots of other things their beginning is rough. The second story is about an art student that wished to be loved, but got a bit shewed by being sexually attracted towards a substitute body before falling for another art student. Another couple break off and get it on again and again, just because one of them is unsure of themselves. And last, two gay vanilla boys lie towards one another and in the end are able to reconcile because of outside interference.

The pilot then kidnaps the priest, a vehicle and provisions, and flee. On the run, he rapes the priest before leaving him behind. The priest, violated and devaststed, is found by enemy soldiers and probably even further raped by them and others in a POW camp. He looses his faith but can’t leave the church, because it’s all he’s ever known. Three years later, after the war is over, the priest (now working as a monk) and the pilot meet again in a convent, under similar circumstances because the pilot is once again badly hurt. The priest presents the pilot with a white Stargazer lily, which symbolise a ”rejuvenation of the soul.” (They can represent purity, commitment and rebirth, which is why they're often chosen as Sympathy Flowers.) Trying to repent by accepting that he’s fallen from faith, and to show that (like in the Tarot card ”The Devil” the prisoners chains to corruption are loose and can be thrown off at any time) the priest tries to offer himself to and seduces the scarred pilot... only to find that the pilot has gotten a penectomy because of a severe burnscar. (Probably from a cockpit fire, since his legs and lower stomach are all scarred). The last pictures in the story are about the priest asking why the pilot never forgot Orlando’s name, and then the pilot standing with a the help of a crutch while the priest is picking Stargazer lilies, symbolising that they might have both attoned for any sins commited and can now try their best to just heal instead.

13.3.2021 Okay. The first chapter that actually was ANY good, was ch 5 and it was about a man returning home to his lover after having studied 2 years abroad. During those years, his lover grew 15 cm and developed A LOT of muscles. Which made the lover think he would be dumped. Which he wasn’t, so yay. Ch 6-9 were also kinda okay, and by the end of the whole tankobon you realize how all the characters are interconnected. But still, it was just smut and bara all the way. *sigh*
