Warning ️ Starts with rape. The rape wasn't necessary. I understand Takao wanted to do something to be more than others to Kimihiko but that shouldn't have been it. Also, the fact that Takao was attracted to his cousin's ex-boyfriend's; Junya. If he really loved Kimihiko, he wouldn't have felt attracted to another. Yes, he would have admired but not touched. But in this case, not even admired cause he wasn't gay to begin with but just liked Kimihiko. Maybe because Kimihiko was his first man? But still, doesn't feel right. The pacing is a bit fast, and while you can feel their emotions, Takao's don't always come through as they should. Kimihiko's on the other hand make my heart sink.

It's the fated pair trope. Basically it's a genre where everyone has a fated partner and people have the name of their fated one somewhere on their body. Sometimes they're born with it, sometimes it appears later in life, it really depends on the story, some stories have symbols instead of names, Pian Pian only had initials. I don't know why they never explain anything with this genre, it's rare to get any explanation in the beginning. I don't mind but it can be confusing.
