When I started reading this, I didn't know what I was getting into. The title seemed interesting; something that screamed twisted characters so I took a chance with it. The ending what unexpected. I wasn't thinking his mother might have died. I thought more of the possibility of his step-father dying and him realizing he loved him, so that kind of ending was an unexpected but very good twist of events. Well, the good guy did turn into a crazy murderer but Kyunghee meeting him while he was in prison brought closure to that part of the story.
