Plenty of cases of straight women dressing as men in history. Especially when it is to support their family. That is actually a thing in some middle eastern nations still..where a female daughter is raised as a son! IT IS NOT QUEER ERASIER. so annoying how people think gender identity trumps biological reality. If anything it is female erasier. The idea of Joan d'arc being "non binary," completely erases the tragedy. She did such heroic things..to the point where men were jealous and enraged by her. To make her nonbinary erases her sacrifice! She gave up her life as a woman..to follow her path. We are just so privileged to even be able to make and read comics..and people to explore their gender expression. But you are a Male or female. You can dress or act how you wish... But to make it seem like you self identify as a gender..completely goes against the logic of "people being born gay..not choosing it." Do you seriously want to create bigots by being so anti female...and to now be trying to talk to kids? Classic feminists and gay rights activists would be rolling in their graves to see what you label as "queer erasier." When they had to work hard to let society know that they are the same as all humans...and just act differently in the privacy of their own bedroom. Getting into libraries and "baby raves," is undoing all the progress. And let's not even get into how anti women a lot of the current "correct," opinions are. It took DECADES for many women's sports like weightlifting to get into the Olympics.and not even a year for men to enter as a woman? So sad..I can just see conflict in the future. Whoever is pushing such radical views as standard..has some insidious goal..or are just naive and foolish. The man who took the female NCAA swimming contest spot...and had two different twitters. One where he posts stuff fantasizing about being around naked women and dressed as a woman. And the other where they claim "it is just a self identity and people are so phobic against me." Be trans. Live how you want. But don't try and tell women who have lived as women their whole lives that they are hateful. Ever fight with a man as a woman? The fear and overwhelming strength difference! Women should be able to have female only places. Just create a separate gender neutral place. I really feel for homeless women afraid to be in a "female ownly," shelter ..because men are there. Many of the women had a LIFETIME of being a victim of Male bodies. Standard and very liberal opinions being called phobic. Did yall even read JK Rollings tweets? She is so so liberal. And just asked questions about women's safety Literal men who have SA women..getting put into female jails. And impregnating inmates! They are wards of the state...that is so bad legally! Are we going to write off the safety of every women? There are no solutions. Just trade offs. And when I see how young people over simplify very complex issues. Labeling people with reasonable concerns as phobic.. Wtf has the education system done to the world?
