Two childhood friends, who are really close.
One day one of them, who is a reporter, gets the chance to investigate a case of a "biter", when a woman dies after a bite and her blood coagulating. Her childhood is being suspected so he tries to clear up his name by trying to investigate by himself, but what he finds out is that his childhood is also a biter (but not the one who killed the woman) and that his blood is a very rare type of blood called "nectar", essentially a drug for the biters.
