The background story of each of the main antagonists are lacking. It made me feel bad reading. I have this thoughts that the protagonist sides aren't being fair. I also sense an obsessive behaviour from the ml. It's a bit disturbing. If i were the mc, i would've wanted to take a break when he said those mean stuff after returning. I get that he doesn't mean anything by what he said, but he needs to learn and reflect of what he did. I sense an obsessive manner by him ignoring his surroundings during his boarding periods.
