Though Yaku started out cold towards Hink, towards the end he became more lovable and caring. Hino is like an innocent child, though he is popular he isn’t the type to play around and instead he harbored a long time crush on Yaku. There were some good heart pinching moments.

Both Ayumu and Touma struggle with different forms of communication problems. Ayumu is super shy to the point he has difficulty expressing what he wants to say. Touma doesn’t really know how to read the mood and say things without offending people so he chose to remain silent instead of risking hurting people with his words. Of course this presented a problem midway through their relationship. However, I like that they both realize that there is a problem and tried to find a solution in their own way. Ayumu tried to be more brave and started to engage in conversations with people, while Touma tried to be more considerate of Ayumu.

Some of the angst or misunderstandings could have been resolved if both parties had talked properly and were honest. Yamato just got jealous on his own and made assumptions. But it worked out in the end, and most of it because Shima was willing to step up and confront Yamato with his feelings.
