Biting the Tiger

Complete | Mindal Park | 2000 released

Yunho is a band vocalist with an unrequited love for his friend for 10 years who just found out his friend might be gay but also realized his friend had already fallen in love. In his despair, he walked out on his friends with a lame excuse, cried while ran, and bumped on someone. However, this someone was a spirit guide on incognito, supposedly unable to be seen nor touched. Furthermore, Yunho has left a familiar scent on Hanwool, the Tiger spirit. Turns out, even Yunho's unrequited love, Kyunhoon (who can see spirits), has fallen in love with a weakened spirit guide and was gifted to not see the spirits by Hanwool as thanks of Kyunghoon's aid towards Naroo, the fox spirit. And Yunho, who wanted to check on his "rival" to make sure Kyunghoon does not stray from Yunho, finds himself entangled with Hanwool instead. Their love-hate relationship slowly turns complicated once Hanwool realizes Yunho's past and the burden of Hanwool's hatred for humans. Not only that, the scent which ties him so closely to Yunho turns out to be the same as the scent which surrounded a butterfly whom he loves decades ago called Yun or Destiny. Regardless, the two confront each others insecurities, pain, and other burdens. Until Hanwool's power during Summer's Soltice made the gods tremble and hoped to have him separated from Yunho

Gaman Nante Oyoshinasai

Complete | KURENO Mataaki | 2018 released

Sei (32) brings home a fellow rider after they had fallen asleep standing, leaning against his chest. Turns out, they were a student name Ryou (20), overworked by school, parttime tutoring, and helping his single mother with his two younger brothers. When Sei ate Ryou's uneaten lunch, Sei offered him to work parttime for him, with the same wage as Ryou's tutoring. Albeit rejected, they were surprisingly living in the same building which opened up the opportunity for Ryou to accept. After a month of Ryou's weekly cooking job, Sei began having romantic interest on Ryou. With a surprise peck on Ryou's cheek, Sei realizes that it's a normal greeting among Ryou's family to hug and kiss to show affection. Since then, he sneaks a peck on Ryou's cheek when he goes back home as a brotherly action. Nonetheless, an opportune sleep over and conversation about Sei's singlehood triggered Sei's self-control. Instead of a peck, he kisses Ryou on the lips. Without waiting for a response, Sei advices him to leave if he wanted to even if it also meant quitting his parttime job for him. However, Sei wakes up to Ryou's cooking and he takes it as Ryou's response. Nonetheless, things weren't too clear and they separated in an ambiguous atmosphere. When Ryou tells Sei he couldn't come, Sei took it that he was rejected. Work occupied him and he didnt need to go home, but when he did, he was surprised with an honest yet ill Ryou. In an attempt to be a good adult to match Ryou's mindset regarding their age gap, Sei postpones their relationship into kisses just until Ryou graduates in his last year as a high school student.
