Kanta is dirt poor and will be losing his place to stay until the rich kid in class, Touji, suddenly offered him to stay with him. Kanta immediately agreed, even if he didn't know why or who Touji was. Soon, he finds out how useless Touji was with chores and had a strange train of thoughts. But the two got along well and Kanta taught Touji to be independent.
