I Have A Boyfriend

Complete | Pibi | 2000 released

it starts off slow, or maybe manhwa's are really written like that...but the character growth really shows and the love is there. i just feel like the ending stopped abruptly and hoped to know more about their transition living abroad.

Ichika, bachika

Can you really be that curious about gays that you try it out with your friend or did knowing that your other male friends were dating gave you an opportunity to seduce your other male friend? cause seriously, these people just jump the gun and its difficult to comprehend the boundaries of their intimacy. although, sure. it must be the casual transition of friendship to lovers that occurs between close friends that were only lacking sex in their relationship. to me, their relationship are more out of youth than a relationship with the future in mind (if u dont count accomplishing all 48 sex positions before graduation as thinking about the future). still, the story is refreshing.

Samishigariya no Love Letter

Complete | Nanoka | 2014 released

Basically, all these couples were fated to each other since the day they met

Shitteru Yo.

Complete | hinako | 2014 released

I appreciate the protectiveness of the older brother and even if he was suspiscious of his younger brother's lover, he didn't do anything unnecessary that couldve hurt his YB. Also, I'm glad that he still tried to understand how his YB wouldve felt with his lover and when he realized that his YB truly loved his lover, the OB acknowledge their relationship, albeit still on guard. Edit: Sawahata is raising vivid red flags during the first term of their relationship. If he was going to be rejected, he was ready to break hell's gate against the uke. It's fortunate that the uke knows hoe to handle him, but seriously, I'm a little scared for myself because I only noticed how toxic Sawahata actually is and the OB is totally on point with his first impression against Sawahata.

At the End of the Road

Complete | Haribo | 2016 released

1. The pacing for the plot is nice, each of the panels matter to the story. 2.I'm sad that Siwon was treated as anotber body and tool for the plot to keep rolling. He was raped goddammit. 3. I feel sad that I didnt get to see more of Taemin's actual body 4. I'm conflicted with Minjoo (?) because on one hand he was true to his words but on the other he made Taemin go around circles. Still, if he didn't, Taemin would have kept running away so I'm glad that the author really made a strong foundation for Taemin's character. Actually, most of the characters have solid personalities and each of their actions and words match "who" they are. It's only Siwon that I feel bad about because he was really made into a tool. I couldn't even get a good grasp of who he is except that he cares about his relationship with his twin. Besides, for a smart person and "likeable" person like Siwon and with the CDs going around, wouldn't he have earned more pity than have people bully him (ok fine, being bullied is not improbable) and if they were so rich, the parents wouldve known about the CD and know that he was raped. Siwon was written as a loser and was treated as such that it somehow contradicted the likeable and "stole everything from me" twin.

Heesu in Class 2

Complete | Lily | 2017 released

This is EVERYTHING ️. No unnecessary quarrels or obstacles because everything just happens for the sake of the plot. Heesu and Seongwon are so wholesome! When one pulls away, the other push themselves closer towards them. Maybe it didnt have to take 8 years for Sunwoo and Dahm to meet again and it's sad to leave us hanging. Still, seeing as Sunwoo actually waited and was happy for Dahm to get back to him, those two will be alright. And my heart just erupts for Seongwon and Heesu's couple ring and how Seongwon called Heesu his husband.

It still bugs me how Manubu got framed into being a rapist. like, that's a huge stain you can't run from. also, these lonely souls were drawn to each other and i love their love affair. Besides, since it ended with Dai looking for a job then it means theyve really moved in with each other and has lived a life of a couple. its just funny thinking how Manubu must have been thinking about 'old man stink' HAHAHA

Jazz for two

Complete | Clarju | 2000 released

i- here are 2 songs that played in my head: too sad to cry by sasha sloan and life moves on by finneas. not jazz but they just played in my head. the story began awkwardly and the dialogue sounded unnatural. however, when the underlying conflict surfaced, i began to admire the straightforwardness of the dialogue. the songs used and the character building matched even when the pacing was somehow slow, like listening to jazz (i tried listening to a few of the songs, starting from lucky to be me by monica zetterlund). too sad to cry began playing in my head when the truth about Jaejun's suicide unraveled. life moves on played when they were slowly coming into terms with it. also, i can picture the first season as a musical. the second was more serious and fit for a movie. my emotional and sentimental heart breaks and heals while reading this. especially because of how impactful Jaejun's suicide was...

Mikami to Sato wa Mada Yamashikunai

Complete | Tsurukame mayo | 2000 released

Ahh it’s fun rereading these soft BLs and their youthful and straightforward love. Mikami sounds stupid but the way he normalizes Akari’s sexuality swells my heart. I know that Akari wants to tests Mikami’s feelings because he is too aware of its consequences but it helped Mikami confirm his feelings for Sato. Also, it’s amusing how assertive Misami can be and even french kiss Sato. Like, is it a natural technique for a ‘virgin kisser’? Besides, the roles are pretty much set the moment Mikami licked Sato HAHAHA. Sato knows it and he’s delaying it from happening.

He, Him & Us

Complete | Scarf | 2016 released

For one thing, the art is phenomenal. The plot is dragging and is mostly dialogue. It's frustrating and tends to victim blame. It has family issues and foreboding obsessive-possessive traits that endagers life. Personally, I feel like the characters blab on and on redundantly which makes the art fade in the background even if its beautiful. The overall plot is great though. It gives you a healthy premature end where the MC is freed from a potentially more toxic relationship.
