moody_bish's manga / #Transfer student(2)

Hikyoumono dato Waratte Kure

Complete | Mitsuko | 2019 released

The beginning threw me off to a different ending in mind, but I'm glad it progressed differently than I imagined. An introverted transfer student is befriended by 2 childhood friends. Kakeru witnesses something he shouldnt have which opened a window of opportunity for him to be closer with Yudai. Still, the bitter memories of why Kakeru transferred made it difficult to love Yudai.

Asatte ni Kiss

Complete | FUMIKAWA Jimi | 2017 released

Akihisa is an otaku who wanted to stir clear from being isolated in his new school. so, he dyed his hair and took extra care to seem less otaku-ish. But his personality is simply his nature as he naively stumbles upon a lone wolf who repeated a year and has a bad rep among the students. Their unconventional friendship which began from a manga turned into an ambiguous kissing relationship. Turns out, Akihisa's honest admiration was misinterpreted by Yuu as affection to which he accpets on his own and selfishly progressed as a mutual relationship. NGL, the uke was written off as someone too dense to the point of realizing the misunderstand after theyve had sex. Yuu felt played and distanced himself. However, Akihisa became aware of his own unconscious affections during their time apart. And when the two are given the opportunity to get some closure, an unexpected komikon trip interrupted them. Nonetheless, Akihisa's airhead yet honest personality turned out to have charmed his classmates contrary to his self-doubts. (Also, how damning proactive and self-assured is Yuu to just proceed and change their relationship without actually affirming that Akihisa liked him like that? But, well, since he is aware of the long-haired cutie's affections for his friend, I do understand why he thinks Akihisa might be the same—Akihisa does unconsciously flirt with Yuu HAHAHA)
