I Hate

Complete | natsume kazuki | 2000 released

Both of the couples had a gap time where the occurences of their past affected their time apart and mahnified when they met again. The first was about an unforgettable kiss which somehow prevented him from ever kissing anyone else. The second was a word/drawing chain game that exemplified their feelings, ending for a moment then resumed just when they thought it would end. The 2nd couple is fleshed out more than the first which makes their connected more real as well.

I didn't understand what was holding Okomura back. I couldn't process it at all because he started off talking about unrequited love then backs out when it turned out to be mutual. However, I admire Takamine's straightforward and simple-like character. He knows what he wants and unless he is explicitly rejected for reasons beyond "I can't", he doesn't give up. Tbh, I just sighed at Okomura's own ignorance which unfolded at the end. Like, wow. It's adorable and amusing, but I just can't with how convinced he was that he was doing the right thing. I'm just glad it isn't dramatic and Takamine handled it so well. To the point that I just felt the stress of Okomura's friend.

Hino took the same college as Yaku and basically stalked his interest. He tried approaching him, being friendly and kind. However, Yaku doesn't budge, rather he found Hino annoying. And when Hino finally gets his attention, they end up being sex friends. Still, having the chance to be that close with the person he loves made the pain worth enduring.
