If you really want your lover to be happy, respect their decisions, okay? Dont fucking impose your own idea of making them happy because you’re just hurting them! If they choose you, hold on to that. Dont fucking break your promise with this self-pitying thoughts that theyll be happier with someone else. Cause fuck you! That’s just you hurting them, breaking their trust, and belittling their love for you! EDIT: I'm just gonna detach myself from all the feels I felt from this because Kaoro's characterization apparently doesn't even cohere to his basic character. He FUCKING KNOWS how the string works based on the first story, but here, he is written as some insecure bitch who just needlessly hurts his partner.

Wagamama Basic

Complete | Fuuki mame | 2019 released

Four couples. First three work at the same hairdressing shop. The third is the owner's story (in the past I guess?) The fourth is unrelated to the rest. 1. A practicing hairdresser and a distrustful salary man. Quick paced and I didn't feel that tension that led to a confession. 2. Re encounter between childhood friends. The hairdresser relieves his friend because his hair is sensitive. At least there is tension here. 3. At a reunion, a gay (the hairdressing shop owner) and his friend get drunk. The next morning, the gay's drunken confession surfaces which he has to confront while sober. Fourth, he sees red strings as a farewell gift from his grandmother. He knows that his string is connected to his friend, who then confesses. Troubled by it, he tries to evade him but ends up following the string to clear things with him.

Kei sees the red string of fate. Once, when he was young, he pointed out the unconnected strings of his parents. Then, his parents divorced and his father chose the woman he was connected to. He blames himself. Then, one day, he finds himself connected to a guy. Right after, he realizes how many times Hiro seem to be everywhere he was. When Hiro confessed, he evaded him and even cut the string. Realizing his regret, he confesses which Hiro gladly accepts even after telling Kei that he has recovered from the rejection.
