Really sad but beautiful story. The author took the time to develop the characters and plot very well and although it was a very slow burn with lots of miscommunication and unneeded mistakes and drama, the ending finally gave us the happily ever after and smut that I waited so long for. Not one of my favourite reads but I rated this highly out of genuine respect for the writing

DNF @chpt5, pg11. Not a bad read. Art and writing was done well but it was a little too slow paced for my liking. Maybe when I'm not so impatient for something to actually happen, I'll pick this story up again.

3.5 stars. Very similar to Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama but not as romantic or swoony. No actual or detailed smut in this story, just writing about smut and some underwhelming fade-to-black scenes. And hero fingered another woman so I had to add the cheating tag to this. DNF @ch34: this story has been going on too long and I’m not sure I’m caring about it enough to continue. Not a bad story, just a never ending cycle of DGAF.

I nearly DNF'd at the beginning as it seemed like a dark, disturbing and at times, boring read that I thought I would tire of but I'm so glad I kept on reading as the character development and storyline became clearer and more interesting. I slowly started to understand the mangaka's dark sense of humour and have really got into this story but like an addict; I need more!! Need to see the 2 main characters finally get their sh!t together so please update!!! Update: it’s now vol9 ch56 and I’ve been skimming the last 10 chapters prior as the politics talk is getting tedious for me.

Side story to Doushitemo Furetakunai. Cute enough but was a slower burn and the smut was heavily watered down. Still, enjoyable enough but would recommend reading Doushitemo Furetakunai first to further understand what's going on

DNF @ vol 2 chpt 7. Wasn't a bad story. Just a little too slow paced for me. Maybe I may come back to it one day but I'm afraid I will probably have forgotten the whole storyline and characters by then

Little to no smut. Nothing too graphic. Skimmed through most of this story.

5 full stars for the wonderful seme but had to minus a star because the uke pissed me off a little. The beginning of the story was pretty boring and as I wasn't a fan of the uke, was nearly going to stop reading but I'm glad I kept going because the seme was so loyal and persistent that it melted my heart. Great happy ending and thank god the uke finally came to his senses! Also a spinoff/standalone story to Dekiru Otoko no Sodatekata.

The art is so simple yet so amazing. The artist was able to explain and describe so much with so little words. I've read so many stories with so much talking and explanation, yet still lacked depth and character and story development but this artist managed to portray so much understanding and emotional content with just her art. Amazing! Highly recommend to anyone who loves BL and also any first time BL readers. Don't expect smut or insta-love. This one is a slow burn with lots of laughs along the way.
