spent hours reading this instead of preparing for my tests next week and tbh it's (kind of) WORTH IT. Really hits home with the "nobody wants to be friends with me, is there something wrong with me?" Situation. That was exactly what I was feeling these few weeks and I almost teared up when sky was feeling it. He deserves the whole world and shouldn't be bullied for being gay. I LOVE him and his progress towards moving on from the past. This story got me hooked from the start and I see why people love it cuz we got to see the backstories in such a good pace and the progression of the enemies-to-lovers trope is SO good bc it wasn't instalove??? I dislike having that trope watered down to the characters already finding them attractive from the start like wheres the enemies and hate in that?? These gave me what I wanted from the trope. The way that at first, all they saw was their weakness and all the bad sides, and just hatred for each other, but then they hear their stories, the "I DIDN'T KNOW WHO TO CONTACT" TROPE THAT HAPPENED WITH CIRRUS UGHHH. and the way that cirrus doesn't realized that he had fallen for sky??? The fuCk. I love cirrus even if he's a manipulative and possessive asshole, bc he doesn't even know why he's doing it in the first place. I want him to fall first and to fall HARD for sky. I Can't wait for these two to show love to each other as much as they deserve. 20/10
Don't Be Nice To Me
FISH LIPS. The art is good ngl, but the lips always threw me off just like the other stories with this type of art. First off, why did they make the seme so sus in the beginning? Like something was up when actually NOTHING is up. It felt off for no reason. It's one of this stories that made me realize how a part of an art can drastically change the vibe. If the seme's lips weren't like fish lips and were drawn like normal straight lips, he would've been more on the bad guy and masc vibe. But with the bottom lip fuller, he's more on the prettier side. It's surprising. Overall, didnt think much lf it tbh. The last few chaps needed more details though cuz it was too rushed.
