start/end: 07/06/20 OKAY. I wanted to avoid reading this because of the comments, but I got ahead and read it anyway. This made me feel a lot of mixed feelings and I just couldn't keep up with the thoughts in my head. But I'll try. CHEATING? Well, to be exact, nobody really cheated here since Kei and Naru never confirmed their relationship. It mostly seemed like Naru was so used to having Kei by his side that he decided to "use" him to have sex with whenever he wanted (though ofc, we know that Kei actually had a part in this, by manipulating Naru into being that way...). Nonetheless, they had mutual feelings which Naru just didn't seem to realize 'cos he's simply confident that Kei is his, even if he doesn't say anything. But... I have to admit, it still didn't sit well with me for Kei to have sex with Mizuse just to incite Naru. I get it, of course. He wanted to play something "interesting" just as Naru demanded. I just... seriously got hurt seeing him go all the way like that. It's just too much. I always get conflicted in such settings. You know, when two people aren't in a relationship despite being in love with each other and simply couldn't admit it out loud. I get mixed feelings when one of them decide to date or fool around with others (despite being "in love" with the other person "all this time") because they have no obligation to stop themselves from doing it ('cos they're single anyway). It sucks because they do this, but when they finally get together with their "ONE TRUE LOVE", they devalue all their previous relationships claiming to only love the OTL even when they were with others. It just hurts... Then again, there's no assurance that it they did come out and admit their feelings, they'll be reciprocated. Worst comes to worst, their current relationship would end and they'll just be too awkward around each other. So there's no guarantee that they won't be hurt either way. Others choose to date/be with other people in an attempt to forget their feelings for their OTL thinking it won't work out anyway... But anyway, my point is just that I don't like it when people claim to be in love with their OTL all this time when in fact, they shared moments with others. I just don't want it being brushed off like it didn't happen. Well, going back to the manga, like a lot of the commenters, I really wanted Naru to find someone else and see how Kei reacts after his plan backfires. Not saying that he has to have sex with him to or date him, but I dunno, just to something Kei never expected him to do. After all, if we look at the big picture, Naru was actually the first one to disregard Kei's feelings when he asked to have threesome and f*cked Mizuse. In a way, they both f*cked someone else despite being "together" all those years (without label nor confirmation though). I guess the degree isn't the same though, since they both f*cked Mizuse. It would've been different if Naru was f*cked by someone else instead, 'cos Kei wouldn't have been the only one to use his hole. I mean, in a way, I guess his pride won't let him have that (perhaps that's why he brought another uke instead of a seme when they had a threesome). But well, sex is sex. So that should still count. But yeahhh, the scenario I imagined was that after seeing Kei f*ck Mizuse in their room, instead of jerking off of it and running away, I wanted Naru to run away and ask to change rooms. After all, he clearly asked Kei not to let him in their room, but not only did he let him in, he even f*cked him (though he did it knowing Naru was there). I wanted Kei to go more psycho when he finds out that Naru would be moving and having a new seme roommate. Really, I also wanted Naru to realize that his world didn't only have Kei. I wanted him to open up to more people, especially his roommate. Then, seeing how his isolated Naru was no longer isolated and was starting to form relationship with other people, he'd just blow up and confess in desperation to keep Naru. Urghhhh... I'd just imagine it went that way instead of him simply "being courageous enough to fight for his love and snatch him under Mizuse's nose after claiming they belong to each other". 'Cos duh. He needed to have more character development than that. I guess the limited chapters made it that way though. If this had more, I'd definitely want to play it out with more character development instead of getting together just like that despite of everything that happened. Ughhh I think I typed a lot but I'm not sure if it's even coherent or whatever. Just a brain dump, I guess.
