Well practically there was no cheating, but I'm worried about characters like Yuzu... I mean, she's a strong ang cheerful girl, and she's very forward too. It's scary to have some one like her near my bf if I had one. She's not exactly sly but she's the type easy to like. I was bothered by the comments of her friends, justifying how the distance would be her advantage. I'm glad how Soutaro defended his feelings in the beginning since it's true that only the ones involved in the relationship are supposed to know how it's like. It's easy for outsiders to judge but they don't even know everything. It's sad how easily Soutaro left Mina (his gf) though. Personally, I wouldn't like what Soutaro did. Him hiding the fact that he's close with another girl "out of consideration to Mina's feelings" is unacceptable. If he's really sincere that that's just it, he shouldn't be afraid to defend himself since he's honest. Anyway, didn't Yuzu even think that there may come a time that they'll get separated , too? When that time comes, she'd finally understand what Mina felt and she might even be more paranoid about the girls Soutaro will encounter. Hmp. I'm not saying it's impossible that love like theirs will go smoothly but I wish they had more time to think things over and reflect. Yuzu's too self-centered acting selfless simply not to look bad.

I liked Naru, but I think his character's development lacked in some aspects... I really had a crush on Shinah, though. He's good-looking, smart, and a gentleman. I was turned off when he let Juhi (the tutor) kiss him as she liked though, even if he claims he liked Ida since before. He's not good at fighting like Naru, and he seems to be a sadist/dominant male character, but if he were to be sincerely in love with me (and wouldn't even give others chance to flirt with him), then he's someone I'd really like to have. :p

Yandere alert! I dislike Yerim (Nurse) very much as she was the master manipulator of most, if not all tragedies in this story. I'm actually surprised that Gayun didn't deal with her sooner. Of course I'm very bothered about how they couldn't differentiate Song Yi and A Ul when she only changed clothes and pushed back her hair a little bit. Their height difference is noticeable too. How about their voice? Haha. It's kinda ridiculous, really, but anyway.. I thought Gayun will discover SongYi's secret sooner especially because he had a lot of "..." moments while observing A Ul. Urk. But really, it sucks to be popular, eh? This manga made me realize that even more. That there could be people who desperately seek their love to be reciprocated to the point of threatening the other with their own lives. Like, duh. He's not even allowed to live for himself? If he were to take responsibility for the life of one person who threatens to commit suicide if he doesn't go along with her, then what would happen if more people would demand that? Where would that leave him? Poor guy. It's such a burden to be popular. Anyway, unlike other HMR heroines, I can take SongYi more. I mean she at least has really good points unlike the other characters. We can see here how even when she's neglected, she tries hard to be look after herself and even A Ul. She even sacrificed her life to fill in for A Ul while he can't attend the school since their parents care too much about his reputation, too. She's strong. She may have been manipulated by Yerim and may seem so indecisive, but I'm glad that the conflicts aren't as dragged out. For example, when she chose Seryun after his confession as Yerim instructed, she let Gayun go but quickly went after him after thinking it over. It's good that she was able to catch up with Gayun and he accepted her immediately. I'm glad he's actually not a jerk to her. Even when he found out about SongYi. I'm glad he didn't make a fuss about thinking she's doing it for revenge or something. For once, I really liked Gayun, too. Especially when he thought it over and still accepted SongYi after all (suspecting that something happened with Seryun included). Seryun is hard to ignore, though. He's such a sweetie. I hope he gets someone deserving, because he's innocent and sweet.

Sensei!

Ahhhh, I really want an Itou for myself... He's too good to be true yet he's not exactly perfect... But being an understanding and open-minded person as he is, I feel like his type is someone who'll surely suit me. His not so good moment in this manga was when Fujioka, who resembled him a lot and had a more convenient and favorable position to date Shimada appeared, and he got too caught up being an adult and not realizing his jealousy, causing them to drift further apart. His unease was unwarranted, knowing how Shimada felt towards Fujioka at the time was pure. But I guess, it can't be helped, because it was only a matter of time when the conditions could lead off that direction and he was simply afraid to watch his lover fall for someone else. I would to. The bad thing there was that, even though he was someone who'd always preferred talking about feelings and problems openly to each other so they can resolve it quickly, he kept mum about it. But oh well, I'd say Shimada was too naive back then to not realize that Fujioka was a possible threat to sensei. Anyhow, I'd still want him. He's the type of guy who'd patienly wait for you and love you unconditionally even when things get tough. I mean, let's face it. The reason why he decided to separate was because he felt Shimada was gradually wavering (from the moment she talked about Fujioka happily)... Well there's that... If I have to say, I guess there were too many love rivals that it got pretty annoying, but I salute Sensei for not wavering even once. Itou Sensei - Nakajima sensei (co-worker : dumped her... refused to 'comfort' her even when she needed it the most), Misaki (ex-student, ex-girlfriend : let her stay the night when she came crying and being desperate, but he stayed in his car... afterwards, clearly told her off.), Arisa (aggressive and persistent freshman : was considerate since he's a teacher and protected her because he was in the position to... he sensed her dangerous vibe early on so he hinted on to Shimada... didn't give in to her advances despite all her tactics and drawn the line early on.) Shimada - Katayama (goukon guy : dated him halfheartedly 'cuz she's rebellious), Nagisa (pushy and persistent freshman who reminded her of her past determined self : claimed she didn't want to hurt him so gave in and went out with him a couple of times), Fujioka (same-aged Archery club pres who resembled Itou in a lot of ways : heart wavering because it's like dating sensei but being more comfortable and open about it... since the beginning, she admired his form saying he's beautiful and whatnot, and she easily spilled her thoughts and feelings that she couldn't open up even to sensei. In other words, her perfectly safe haven.) See the difference? Err well. Anyway, it's really hard to judge Shimada that badly 'cuz every teenager has her troubles. I mean, I probably would've felt and done the same, who knows. But if my guy was someone like Itou, I feel like I can truly believe in true love. But how do I know that my guy would be like Itou anyway? Do we have to go through the same ordeals? 'Coz if we do, I'm not sure I can handle it before I even confirm he's like Itou... ahh well. I'm just so in love with Itou. He's my ideal, mature guy. And it's a bonus that he's tall and wears glasses, really. Super attractive and lovable, not just with the appearance, but personality as well (I really like the cold vibes he gives off but being very caring with someone he loves)...
