As they spent time together, they both liked each other and had sex. It's like, Houjo had a crush on Akihito, but since he and Kenichi hit it off, he set aside those feelings to focus on Kenichi only. I would also like to believe that he really was drunk when he kissed Akihito and called out Kenichi's name. This will somehow be better than faking it just to steal a kiss from Akihito. Well, there's also the fact that Akihito's staight so Houjo probably didn't want to put his hopes on him.. But anyway, I just don't like it when A is in love with B, but doesn't have the courage to admit it so he uses C as a substitute or distraction because he's more approachable/convenient. For ,me, okay, you don't have the courage so you go along with another person... But commit to it. Fully. Wholeheartedly. Don't half-heartedly go out with C while you're still in love with B unless you have the conviction to get over A. Don't do it if you're just in it while you're gathering your courage or waiting until A poses a chance for you to swoop in... That's just cruel. Also, be honest with C. Don't be a j*rk.
