KNS's manga / #self-victimising Uke(1)

SPOILER-ish: I tried hard to enjoy this but just can't fully ship the uke. He's introduced as someone who's still holding on to trauma after being told "who can love someone like you", but then you find out that he was the problem. He was such a bitch to the Seme because of his own issues with self-esteem and actually went out of his way to make "jokes" that would hurt him, just because of his own inferiority complex. He is literally self-sabotaging and blaming the seme for it. Even when he does try to protect the seme, he antagonises him by implying he doesn't want to out himself out of fear, when the seme was ready to shout that he was also gay, on the rooftop. And the whole text thing, like really bitch??? You didn't talk to him about, once again made himself the victim and brushed off the seme with bullshit comments and then played with with the seme's feelings while trying to "seduce" him!! I'm all for character development but at least make it so that the character has actual good qualities, that outweigh the bullshit. Summary: without the seme, the uke would still be self sabotaging and he relies on the natural goodness for at least 50% his self-esteem. I would not be surprised if future misunderstanding occur because of his not-completely-dealt-with insecurities, and the seme has to wirk overtime to prove himself. Ps: yes he had shit parents, but that doesnn't mean its okay to antagonise someone who has good familial relationships. I know its a webtoon and not RL but theres people like this in RL.
