Naww~ The age progression and passing of time really hits you with those bittersweet feels. It was quite interesting and unique to have the readers continue seeing a story long after the protagonist ends their part. Bina's personality is interesting - she's more harsh, unforgiving (to enemies), and indifferent (to death) than the typical protagonist, but it was refreshing. I guess that's why she adapted and thrived so well as the empress. I liked the use of wit to out-scheme the enemy. I liked how strong and trusting the love was between Bina and Luke - even those cringey cavity-inducing lines I secretly enjoyed. ^ ^" [Spoilers] That's why I was also v. suspicious over the 'argument' re: the rumoured adultery - given the nature of their relationship that had been built up so far. A satisfying happily ever after!
