When the author revealed that yeonseo and wooyeon both like geom???? THE PLOT FLAVOUR WENT UP everything in me was HOPING this would end up a cute lil poly relationship BC THEY ALL DESERVE IT goddd i love their relationship so much im so happy author didnt pull a mediocre unlikable character on yeonseo ahhh MY GFFFF i love her shes so real i hope she plays a bigger part in the plot soon ooo AND WOOYEON MY BOY ITS TIME TO GO APE SHIT i know he has an inner yan in him I KNOW HE DOES but all that aside i LOVE that hes a puppy ml archetype :((( i love it very much when the love interest finally knows what the mc is going thru and is now going thru godly levels of angst and pain and anger YEAHHHH GO CRAZYYY also geom’s department team MUAH (except for the ugly disrespectful guy) ITS GIVINGGG AUMMMM found familyyyyyy the ahjusshi :(((( geom helping and recruiting them in various ways :((( the way ahjusshi told geom to keep his hatred so that he can finally get revenge AHHH yessir i hope i hope he gets to do that like its been 15 chapters and i know for a fact that geom would ve unstoppable if u give him a gun specifically a sniping gun LMAO just. Its so fucking good, like whenever i read tropes like this i always hope for it get darker and EYEOW THIS ONE DID ITS JOBBB author muah muah muah the translator too muah muah the author rlly chose all the best dead dove and whump flavours and poured it all in THANK YEWWWWWWW the amount of times i thought Ah this noncon/dubcon scene is gonna get cut huh BUT NO IT DIDNT?:?3? Honestly this is the kind of story where i genuinely wont be mad if its a bittersweet ending. Like theres a few outcomes that i can think of; geom and wooyeon safe and sound (yeonseo might d word idk why but it just feels like she has a potential death flag), geom gets taken away again and wooyeonso suffer thru yearning again, wooyeon dies, geom is stuck in a neverending hell, everything works out but geom becomes a scapegoat and gets into jail,, many many possibilities and honestly i wouldnt ve mad at either ending lol the awful predicament mc has himself in is almost reminiscent of the mc in roses and champagne and honestly? I eat any kind of ending when a plot is this good lmao Author,,, absolute massive brain this is an instant no.2 in the magnum opus of bls (kings maker u will always be numero uno in my heart<3) just kudos BRAVOS STANDING OVATION

The pacing the art the PINING this will always be my favourite manhwa its just.. it doesnt over complicate things yet the execution feels so Enough? Its just So beautifully done. Their love is just gentle and so so tender good for them :(

This everything about this i enjoyed every SECOND of this bl from the characters to the theme to how u literally dont know how itll end bc the author LOVES pulling suprises its just such an enjoyable read felt like i was watching a GOOD opera drama i love it to bits I love historical bl where love between the same sex prevails despite it all :(( idk as a Very gay person living in a non lgbt friendly area it looks so ? It gives me hope? And makes me succumb to this fantasy that ah,, one day. Me too :(( i love ian and raymonds character development especially like how ian tried to heal and hes moving in the present while raymond is drowning in greed and revenge and still stuck in the past? Yea i LIKE that author nice nice nice AND THE STRUGGLE ian is going thru as an artist??? Whether his talent is a blessing or a curse???? loving then hating painting??? AHHH art bl what blessing i love it so much Also can we talk about how lena in the final chapter sketched them both and they just look so gentle and in love with eachother????? And how raymond ended the chapter with this affirmation that he was once SO scared to admit ??? He said “my lover my painter behind the curtain” AYO ?????? Bro where do i even start.... like from start to now, the art and storyline has been so so fucking consistent even the colouring. The narration?? Absolutely beautiful AND THE PANELS?? Good lord the panels makes it ten times better i absolutely Adore this story. Im actually planning on buying the physical version honesrly its just That good?? Plot wise its dark especially in s1 but i can definitely see the authors steadily making it even darker in s2. They did say they find the human studies fascinating so im not surprised if theyre gonna tackle the issue of drug abuse. Im dreading it thought bc im gonna be depressed lmao Shin and wolfgang in this story are well written characters. I love LOVE how they trust each other and how they stand on equal footing. Wolfgang respects shin just as he did when he was 13 and so did shin. They clearly love eachother so much but bc their original plan is for the sake of the kingdom, they have to set aside their feelings :( and that sucks. Shin definitely realised his feelings for wolfgang yet despite that he still prioritise the country first and wants wolfgang to secure his throne through marriage. It sucks but seeing the shit and mess the previous tyrant left behind, i can see why. They just love and adore each other so much. They also love the kingdom. And since its in historical setting, its so hard to expect what will come next and how the authors will give them their endgame... i hope its a happy ending... i just really want them to be happy :((( ANOTHER THING that i would like to note is how wolfgang doesnt KNOW how DEVOTED shin is towards him. Hes like this beacon of hope and light for shin and i can see why shin takes every responsibility to protect him and govern the country. To the point of not even wanting wolfgang “sullying” his hands :(( he absolutely reveres him so.... god i dont think even shin realises just how much he loves wolfgang. Yea he realised that he yearns and loves him but to That Extent.. god.. and i bet wolfgang would do the same too.. THEY JUST LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH BRO..
